This was the first WWE event in Sioux City in seven years and the first

manager jumps in the rings and gets Hasaad DQ'ed. Sgt. Slaughter runs in to
even up the 2-on-1 attack on Maven

running powerslam for the victory. Christian refues to leave for a little bit
afterwards

WWE House Show Results (9/25/04)-Sioux City, Iowa
Reported by Stat1k, rajah.com reader
Hey guys i just got back from the house show in Sioux City, Iowa and it has been 7 years since they have last been here so the arena was almost packed.
During the 10 minute intermission Howard Finkel announced that Sioux City would get to host Monday Night Raw sometime next spring.
Anyway to the matches. ( I might have the order mixed up a little )
1. Rhyno & Tajiri vs Chuck Palumbo & Rodney Mack
Rhyno and tajiri got some good cheers and it was a fairly long match to start things out. But in the end Rhyno gave Palumbo the gore and got the win.
Winners: Rhyno & Tajiri
2. Simon Dean vs Val Venis
Simon Dean came out and no one really knew who he was at first, but as soon as he started doing a promo in the ring everyone figured it out. He was saying Sioux City had the ugliest and fatest people that he has ever seen and that he could "Help Us". Anyway during the middle of his promo Val Venis came out and he started telling val that he was out of shape which he got a lot of heat for. Val dominated the whole match and when he went for the money shot Simon Dean rolled out of the ring and went into the back so Val wins by count out. After the match Val was getting the crowd going by teasing with throwing his towel in the crowd.
Winner: Val Venis
3. Hurricane vs Tyson Tomko
Hurricane came out to some good cheers and he did not play the heel role at all which i tought he would have. It was an alright match i dont remember to much about it. Tomko won with his finisher.
Winner: Tyson Tomko
4. Mohammed Hassan vs Maven
Mohammed Hassan came out with a manager and he got into the ring and he manager started to talk about the how america should stay in its own back yard, he then got on his knees and laid a rug in front of him and started praying. Then maven came out and grabbed the rug and wipped his ass with it and the crowd went crazy. This match didnt last to long. Maven won with some move and he was getting the crap beat out of him after the match and then Sgt. Slaughter came out for the save and cleaned the ring out. Huge USA chants after that.
Winner: Maven
10 minute intermission. After it was over finkel came back out and said that we would get to host raw sometime next spring!!
5. Gail Kim vs Victoria
I think this is what everyone was waiting for because they went crazy when gail and victoria came out. It was an alright match, they messed up a few spots, but vitoria won with the widows peak. TV does not give that move justice because it looks awesome live.
Winner: Victoria
*Tag Team Title Match*
6. La Resistance vs William Regal & Eugene
La Resistance got huge heat when they came out and there where loud USA chants when they started to sing the canadian national anthem. Then Eugene and Regal came out and everyone went crazy for Eugene. The begining of the match was the best part. When eugene got into the ring he took the flag from la resistance and started riding it like a horse around the ring, then he was poking the ref and william regal in the butt with it. Great Stuff. Eugene was the most entertaining by far, but they lost the match when la resistance used the flag on william regal for the win.
Winners: La Resistance
7. Christian w/ Tyson Tomko vs Shelton Benjamin
Christian came out to some good heat and CLB chants. Shelton Benjamin then got on the mic and said "In case you didnt hear them, they were calling you a creepy little bastard" and the crowd went crazy. This was one of the best mathces they both played to the crowed. Then tyson grabbed sheltons foot as he was running against the ropes and he got kicked out to the back and crowed went crazy for that too. Shelton won with his finisher.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin
8. Kane vs Matt Snitsky (I think thats his name)
Kane got one of the biggest pops of the night, everyone went crazy for him. Kane dominated the match for the most part, the only offense Snitsky got was when he knocked kane into the steps outside. Then they got back into the ring and chokeslam it was over.
Winner: Kane
*Main Event*
9. Randy Orton & Chris Benoit vs Triple H & Batista
Man you have to see batista live to be able to see how big that guy really is, he is huge. Triple H came out to some good heat and got on the mic and started talking trash to the crowd, he said if anyone in the audiance started to chant RKO he was gonna send batista out there and have him kick our asses, then of course the crowd started to chant it and batista got out of the ring and was gonna hit someone in the crowd with a steel chair. Orton and Benoit came out the the biggest pops of the night. This was the best match of the night, Orton tried to give Triple H the RKO like 4 times, but never got it.
The match lasted about 15-20 minutes and was very good. Orton won it with an RKO on Batista.
Winners: Randy Orton & Batista
The house show was great, it lasted about 3 hours. They only thing i was dissapointed about was that jericho was not there. After the show we went to the back and watched all of the wrestlers leave. The only ones that came up to us were Orton and Maven. I got to shake ortons hand which was cool, but he didnt want to sign autographs because he said if he signed one then he would have to sign everybodys. Maven signed a few, but that was it.
Biggest Pops
1. Randy Orton
2. Chris Benoit
3. Kane
4. Eugene
5. Sgt. Slaughter
Biggest Heat
1. Triple H
2. La Resistance
3. Simon Dean
4. Christian
5. Mohammed Hassan
