- There is still a good amount of talk about WWE letting Undertaker get away with not doing a job at Summerslam to Justin Bradshaw Layfield, even though new main event ideas have apparently been exhausted.
- Every week, talent relations head man John Laurinaitis books the house show cards based on the storyline directions of that week only. At the same time, the actual Smackdown! & RAW writers pitch their respective ideas to Vince, who approves, disapproves and gives his overall direction. The writers are then instructed to go back and write the show based on Vince's aforementioned guidelines and from there, the show goes to the agents over the weekend. By the time the shows air on Monday and Tuesday, the programs are often changed again so talent relations are once again forced to re-write the house show cards.
- Even though Triple H and Vince McMahon paid $30,000 for Sean "X-Pac" Waltman to go into rehab, Waltman is not coming back to WWE at this point but he is out of the rehab.
