- The preliminary buyrate for January's Royal Rumble came in at 485,000 buys which translates into a roughly 0.90 buyrate, almost double what Aramgeddon produced a month earlier. That is down from last year's 515,000 buys and the record-breaking 670,000 buys in 2002 but is still higher than what WWE estimated internally.
- The tentative Wrestlemania XX lineup looks as follows: Triple H vs. Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels; Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg; Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle; Undertaker vs. Kane; Rock & Mick Foley vs. Randy Orton & a partner; Big Show vs. John Cena; Chris Jericho vs. Christian; and Stacy Keibler & Jackie Gayda vs. Torrie Wilson & Sable.
- The reported Vince McMahon offer to Bret Hart was only for him to appear at Wrestlemania and give a farewell-type speech. Contrary to previous rumors, Vince did not extend an offer for Bret to appear at the Hall of Fame ceremonies probably because he knew Bret would decline.
