WWE House Show Results (10/7/04) - Sheffield, England

Results by: Brett, rajah.com reader

Hi Rajah! Just got back from the Sheffield RAW House Show!

Here's the news, results and notes!

Lilan Garcia is over rather than The Fink!- Hurrah!

She sang the GB National Anthem to kick us off (and she did it well, too)

Stacy Kiebler was there for nothing more than to welcome us to the show!

Match Results :

Tajiri + Rhyno beat Hurricane + Rosey. All were good sports, the crowd was split,
and they all made up and shook hands and posed after. Aww.

Shelton Benjamin defeated Chuck Palumbo. Shelton's pyro took everyone by suprise,
especially the young girl sat next to me...

Nidia + Victoria defeated Trish + Molly. Widows' Peak looks cool in person!

La Resistance defeated William Regal + Eugene. Eugene is such an entertainer!
Coach came out at the start - he has one of the worlds' most irritating voices -
ever. Anyway, he was the special ref... and fast counted Regal down for the win.
Not his lucky night, as he got a Eugene Stunner afterwards. Hurrah.

Val Venis defeated Maven. Val used the ropes to cheat, reversing a cross-body.
Crowd wasn't really into this...

Chris Jericho + Shawn Michaels defeated Christian + Tyson Tomko. HBK got attacked
with a chair before the match, so the majority was a handicap match. Of course, HBK
Came back, evened it up, and got the win with Sweet Chin Music. Pop of the night
for HBK.

15 Minute Interval...

Edge + Chris Benoit defeated Ric Flair + Batista. Flair fell flat on his face 3
times, and showed his bare ass for about a minute. He tapped out to the
Crossface...but he's still a legend!

Kane defeated Gene Snitsky by Count-Out. Kane's pyro was SO hot, I was sat in a
disabled bay at the top of the first tier and could feel it from there. Kane teased
beating Snitsky with a chair to the throat, before 3 refs ran out to stop Kane,
during which time Snitsky escaped. Kane got a really big pop.

HHH defeated Randy Orton. HHH's entrance is fab. Orton lost when Evolution
interfered. Post match beat-down ensued, before Benoit + Shelton Benjamin made the
save, the heels got beaten up, and the fans went home happy.

All in all, was a solid 3 hour show, with some good work, and the magic never goes
away, no matter how many times I go to these live shows. Got some good photos too
which you can have if you ask nicely ;)

Am off to Smackdown in Manchester on Tuesday so will pass along those results too
when I'm back!
