Hi There,
Just got back from the House show at wembley arena here in London, thought
you might like some results.
The Arena was a sell out and you could tell everybody was very exicited by
what they were about to see. LOTS of whoo chants an hour before the event
began.
Coach came out about half an hour before the show was due to begin to some
huge "you suck chants". London was definately not digging the Coachman.
Eugene also came out and messed with the crowd about ten minutes before it
started.
Lilian came out to start the show. Said she was going to sing the national
anthem but got booed, as i feel people thought she would sing the american
anthem, not that theres anything wrong with that mind you! After a beautiful
rendition of God Save The Queen she introduced Stacy Kiebler (Huge Pop), who
said there would be a triple threat IC match between Y2J, Edge and
Christian. The main event would be a 6 man tag team match of HHH, Ric Flair
and Batista vs Chris Benoit, Randy Orton and Shawn Michaels. With that she
introduced the first match:
Rhyno & Tajiri Vs Hurricane and Rosey
Nice opening match with lots of Rhyno Chants. Tajiri won the match with a
buzsaw kick to The Hurricane. Rosey missed a moonsault from the second
turnbuckle, but was amazing to see a guy of his size even try it. All
wrestlers shaked each others hands afterwards.
Val Venis Vs Shelton Benjamin
Venis played the heel here very well, mouthing the crowd etc, got some good
heat. Good pop for benjamin. Another good match, both wrestlers making a
good effort. Shelton Benjamin picked up the win, unfortunately i missed the
finish so i cant tell you how.
Maven & Nidia Vs Chuck Palumbo & Molly Holly
Nidia's boobs are huge! Crowd werent really into this match, a bit slow
paced. Highlights included maven spanking molly over his knee. Maven got the
win with a bit of a botched jump from top turnbuckle to Palumbos stomach.
Not a bad match but probably the worst with regard to crowd response.
Gene Snitsky Vs Kane
Big Heat for Snitsky. Cut a promo about how it wasnt his fault, Lita
shouldnt have been in the ring yadda yadda. Even said no women should be
allowed in the ring at all. Did well i thought. Kane came out to a HUGE pop,
damn he was over as a fan favourite. Bit of a squash match with the end
result being a no contest i think, as after Kane had hit the chokeslam he
went for a steel chair and placed it round snitskys throat. Went to the top
turnbuckle to jump on the chair but three refs came down to stop Kane, which
meant snitsky could escape. Kane looks awesome live, and the reception he
got was amazing. London definately digs Kane.
La Resistance Vs Regal & Eugene, Tag Team Title Match.
La Resistance come out to lots of boos. Started to sing the national anthem
of France before Eugene music hits. I dont care what people say about
Eugene, the fans still love him. Regal played upto the crowd and was
rewarded with lots of Regal chants. Good to see him live. At one point
eugene stole the french flag and ran round the ring with it before grabbing
a St Georges Flag, running round the ring with it and draping it over regal.
Regal then hung it up in his corner.
At this point the coach came out and said he was the special guest referee.
Comedy value by eugene was classic. The two teams worked well together and
it made for a very good match. Think Rob Conway has something about him that
will see him as a very good wrestler for the WWE for years to come. Anyway
highlights included Regal putting Conway (i think) in the regal stretch,
only for Coach to look away and tie his shoe lace whilst Conway was tapping.
La resistance won after hitting Regal in the stomach with the french flag.
Afterwards Eugene gave Coach a stunner.
Eugene picked a kid from the crowd who was dressed just like eugene (beard,
hair, eugene jacket etc) Crowd loved this and they recorded it so should be
on next weeks raw.
Intermission
Y2J Vs Edge Vs Christian w/Tyson Tomko
Edge came out to mixed reception, Christian came out to some good heat, Y2J
came out to a great pop (as expected). Christian got on the mike and started
bashing David Beckham and said he would never let his peeps down like he did
against portugal in the european championships (He knew his stuff). Got
booed ut of the arena for this. Great stuff.
Loads of Y2J chants. Great match. Think Edge must still be getting over his
injuries as he wasnt in the match alot. Tyson got ejected after about 5 mins
for tripping both Y2J and Edge. Y2J got in most of his usual spots, finished
occured after Y2J slingshotted christian into edge (who was on the apron out
side the ring) and then out put christian into the Wall of Jericho, who
tapped almost straight away. Great effort by Y2J and Christian, crowd was
well into it the whole way through and by far the best match of the night.
Trish Stratus Vs Victoria, Womens Championship Match.
Good to see Trish she was looking hot. But this match was just Boring. Didnt
like this one at all. Just my opinion. Finished occured when Victoria missed
her moonsault and trish rolled her up with her foot on the ropes for the
pin.
Batista, Ric Flair and HHH Vs Chris Benoit, Randy Orton & Shawn Michaels.
All of the wrestlers got HUGE pops except Batista, but by far the biggest
pop of whole night goes to HHH. Wembley arena went ballistic for this guy,
and he seemed to like it too as his was posing on the turnbuckle for quite a
while. This was also Ric Flair Country.
Great match with Flair, Batista and Benoit working the hardest. Highlight
had to be when Randy Orton banged both HHH and flairs head together.
afterwards both HHH and Flair staggered and did the Flair flop at the same
time. Classic. This was a chop fest as Flair and Benoit pounded the hell out
of each other and everyone else with chops left, right and centre. Benoit
took a pounding from evolution. HBK delivered the SCM to HHH as he was about
to Pedigree Randy Orton. After that Orton hit the RKO on Batista for the
Win. Crowd went nuts.
End Show.
Big shouts to Y2J, Orton, Benoit and HBK as all went round the ringside
shaking hands with the fans.

All in all a great house show. We love seeing the WWE live and i hope that
shows with the crowd response the wrestlers were getting. Not many wrestlers
got booed, as i think we just love being a part of the experience. Great
Stuff.
