Same Simon Dean promo as last week, added on 'if you use the Simon System you'll get to see ten of your old friends that you haven't seen for years, your toes'
Regal (monster pop) and Eugene def. La Resistance to win the Tag Titles, however as Regal used the Brass Knucks, Bischoff restarted the match and La Resistance retained :-(
Bischoff said as La Resistance didn't soften Eugene up. That the two men who got passed over for the World Title at Taboo Tuesday would face La Resistance for the Tag Titles.
Evolution backstage vignette,didn't catch much as some girl next to me was screaming. HHH ended it by saying that Batista was the futureofthe business.
Snitsky did his usual 'It wasn't my fault' in a tron promo. Said he wasn't a dead man,the only dead man was Kane's baby. Ended the promo by pretending to cradle a baby in his arms and go 'waaaaah'.Cut to Kane watching on the monitor.
Hurricane and Rosey vs. Stevie and Val:
Didn't start as Kane ran out and blasted everyone with a chair, except for Stevie who ran through the crowd. Val left on a stretcher.
Orton cut a promo on Flair, said he wanted to fight the Nature Boy, not the current Ric Flair. Flair came out and said that at Taboo Tuesday he would be going up against the 'Nature Boy'. Funny moment Randy was walking tothe back and trying to throw his jacket over shoulder but it went over his head.
Jericho vs. Rhyno:
Christian and Tomko ran in. Bischoff came out which led to:
Jericho and Rhyno vs. Christian and Tomko.
Rhyno hit the Gore, Jericho hit the Lionsault, everyones happy.
SmackDown! rebound.
Main Event:
Edge, Benoit, HBK vs. Evolution:
HBK was setting up for Sweet Chin Music but edge tagged himself in, HHH set Edge up for the Pedigree and HBK hit him with a little Sweet Chin Music. Edge pins and wins.
Post Match: HBK was doing a poll of the crowd on who should face HHH at TT. Edge spears him in mid sentence. Bischoff comes out and makes a Triple Threat for next week to give voters a look at all three men in action. Edge spears Benoit. End Show.
post show: Edge went to the back, Evolution came back to beat on HBK and Benoit. Randy Orton made the save. All three faces celebrated as the night ended.
