WWE to Debut 2 Arab-American Wrestlers, Tough Enough Finalist Quits

* Tough Enough finalist, John Meyer, quit 1/2 way through the 2nd day of training. At 6-5, 230 pounds he had a decent look, good athletic background, and had experience in the Navy. However, he decided after just a day and a half that he didn't want to be a wrestler. As expected, he was chewed out for taking a spot away from another semifinalist who wouldn't have quit after just a day and a half.

* Expecting lots of criticism regarding what could be interpreted as an exploitation of current international conflicts, the WWE released the following statement recently:

"WWE is introducing two new Arab-American characters on Monday Night RAW. Muhammad Hassan and Khosrow Daivari are U.S. citizens who have grown up in America. They love their country. However, they now face a new and different kind of relationship with their fellow U.S. citizens as a result of being Arab-American in a United States still struggling with the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Raw will explore the challenges Hassan and Daivari face as Hassan tries to make his mark as a new WWE Superstar under the guidance of Daivari as his manager."
