WWE releases Miles
Linda Miles, who competed as Shaniqua on SmackDown!, was released by WWE. The company wishes her luck with all of her future endeavors.
- According to pwinsider.com, Miles has been in the WWE doghouse for quite some time, mainly owing to her attitude towards her work and her lack of effort in trying to improve. In addition, she has also no-showed several training session at Ohio Valley Wrestling and a recent match of hers was said to be so bad that it had to be edited off the weekly OVW show. Reportedly, she will now leave the wrestling business.
- Smackdown! scored a 3.6 overnight rating and a 3.3 final rating for yesterday's show.
- There are still plenty of tickets left for the WWE PPV: Survivor Series to be held this Sunday. That is obviously not a good sign for business.
