Pre-Survivor Series Sunday Night Heat Report-14th November 2004

Hello there everybody Shaun here with a quick recap of the pre Survivor Series edition of Sunday Night Heat. By the time you read this you will all have seen Survivor Series as I'm writing this early Monday Evening (UK Time) (I was going to post it before work this morning but I slept in and didn't have time). I apologize so I'll be brief with the basics and recap the Heat match for you. Most matches were hyped and there were interviews with Ric Flair & Paul Heyman. Flair said to the hot new announcer (Diva Search Contestant Maria) that Evolution would assume control of Raw all night long Monday and the roster would pay homage to them and that HHH is outraged at the treatment that Edge & Snitsky have given him. Meanwhile Heyman told Josh Mathews that Heidenreich didn't fight Undertaker on Smackdown last week as it wasn't on his terms and that tonight it will be on his terms and Heidenreich wants every match he's in on his terms. Heyman finished up by saying it was a strategy by Heidenreich. The Detroit Pistons wearing World Heavyweight Titles in their first NBA Game of the season clip is replayed as Coach informs us all that Piston LeBron James could be in the house for Survivor Series. We also see shots of Big Show's swollen ankle and his team members helping him to the back after Smackdown went off the air last week and the Survivor Series theme tune "Ugly" by "The Exies" (Out Nov 30th) is plugged. Booker T is shown arriving at the arena and a new promo for the controversial Asian characters is shown. The arena boos it and quite right too in my opinion. Match time now and we send it in to JR & The King for a Non-Title Tag Team Match between......................
The Hurricane & Rosey vs La Resistance
The crowd pops for the superheroes as they run down to the ring and the World Tag Team Champs get booed as normal. No singing from Sylvain tonight, instead La Resistance hug and Sylvain starts off with The Hurricane. They lockup, Sylvain hits a knee to the midsection and a blow to the back. Hurricane comes off the ropes, ducks a swing attempt, hits a bodypress and punches Grenier's head in on the canvas. Hurricane suplexes Sylvain and tags in Rosey and the superheroes hit Sylvain with legdrops in stereo and get a two count. Rosey punches Sylvain, Sylvain off the ropes ducks Rosey, who turns and is hit by punches but he shakes them off. An Irish whip attempt doesn't budge Rosey but a reversal sends Grenier to the corner. Rosey charges but Sylvain gets his knees up. Sylvain attempts a sunset flip from the second rope which Rosey counters into a standing kneedrop. Conway rushes in and runs into a Hurricane taunt "Whassupwidat" and he turns and gets Irish whipped to the corner by Rosey. Sylvain is whipped into his partner and is given a backbodydrop by Rosey and he subsequently charges Conway but he moves sending Rosey crashing face first into the turnbuckles. Sylvain kicks at the fallen Rosey tags in Conway and La Resistance double team Rosey with kicks and continue to work over him with frequent tags and by keeping him isolated in their corner.Rosey tries to mount a comeback by elbowing La Resistance in their corner as the crowd gets behind him but La Resistance regain the upper hand and send Rosey to the turnbuckles again head first. Sylvain proceeds to stretch Rosey who refuses to quit and he twists his way round and out, Sylvain kicks him comes off the ropes but Rosey hits a samoan drop and both men manage to tag out. Hurricane clotheslines Conway down twice and punches and clotheslines Sylvain over the top rope. Conway kicks Hurricane, goes to throw into the ropes, Hurricane puts the brakes on and scores with a reverse impaler type maneuver. Cover but Conway kicks out at two. Hurricane climbs to the top rope, Sylvain hooks the leg but is kicked away as Hurricane connects with a high cross bodyblock on Conway for another near fall. Hurricane attempts The Eye of The Hurricane as Rosey kicks Sylvain off the apron but at the same time Conway pushes Hurricane into the ropes and he collides with Rosey who is knocked to the arena floor. Conway kicks Hurricane in the midsection, Sylvain comes back in and La Resistance nail the Au Revoir on Hurricane and Conway covers for the victory. 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners: LA RESISTANCE.
