By Shaun Best-Rajah.com Reporter

Welcome one and all to another jam packed episode of Sunday Night Heat. I am your host Shaun Best, Howard Finkel is the ring announcer and The Coach and Todd Grisham are on commentary. No pyro this week as we go straight into…………………………..

Batista vs Val Venis
There are pops for both competitors as Batista is making a rare appearance on Heat this week. Val looks confident until he gets to the ring and fixes his eyes on Batista and a look of seriousness and dismay takes over as the customary towel is discarded in the corner. The bell rings and Batista smiles as he edges towards Val. Batista backs Val into the corner and punks him out, Val comes back with punches but Batista simply grabs Val, shoves him back into the corner and charges. Val gets his foot up and kicks away at Batista's leg but he only drops to his knees. Val comes off the ropes but Batista catches him with a big spinebuster and covers for a two count. Batista lands blows on Val's back and executes a suplex and gets another two count. Batista throws Val into the ropes and he groggily collapses to the outside where Batista continues the assault with punches to the back and a throw into the guardrail. Val is rolled back in but is still close to the outside so Batista connects with a forearm to the throat and a couple of punishing boots to the head. Batista then proceeds to crush Val's head with his knee and Val tries to fightback, and he comes off the ropes but is backelbowed back down. Batista lands a powerslam and another two count. Val again tries a fightback with elbows and punches trying to stave off the big man. Batista reverses an Irish whip, charges, eats elbow and Val comes at him with roundhouse punches, which force Batista into the ropes. Val chops away, Batista reverses Val into the ropes but puts his head down too early and Val kicks him in the head. Val charges and clotheslines Batista who falls back into the ropes but he comes back at Val immediately and takes him down with a stiff clothesline of his own. Val is out, Batista signals for the end, pumps himself up and lands the sitdown powerbomb. Forget about it as it's easy pickings.1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: BATISTA. Camera goes to commentary booth as Coach says he's had a rough week while Grisham reminds us that Maven ran Raw last week. We'll see highlights later on but……….

Viscera vs Steven Lee
I guess Viscera has a contract now then LOL. I hope not, anyway Viscera waddles down to the ring to no reaction and I'm predicting that this one won't last too long. The hometown jobber doesn't get much of a reaction as Coach & Grisham hype up Viscera by saying that no-one should sign for a match with him unless they want to make a name for themselves. Bell rings and the lockup doesn't last very long as Viscera picks up Lee and slams him down. Lee gets up and tries to work the arm as Coach & Grisham debate on who does Viscera's hair into a blonde mohican. Coach educates Grisham on how a"brother's"hair grows. Viscera and Lee exchange reversals on the arm before Vis clotheslines Lee and slaps him in the corner. Vis chops away and hiptosses Lee to the canvas and Lee crawls to another corner. Vis approaches hangs Lee upside down in the corner charges and squashes him Vis punishes Lee with two clotheslines and a full nelson slam but Lee dodges a Vis legdrop which would have ended it and Lee tries fighting back with punches, chops and kicks but these barely faze Viscera. Vis reverses a throw to the ropes and powerslams Lee down. Vis lies on Lee's back and punches his head in, picks him up by the hair and throws to the corner. Vis Irish whips Lee and follows through with another squash. Another throw to the ropes by Vis results in Lee kicking him in the head and Lee follows up with a dropkick which doesn't budge him so Lee charges again off the ropes but is hit by a spinning mountain kick by Vis. Viscera signals for the end and hits what Grisham calls the Embalmer (A-Train's Derailer or D'Lo's Sky High) for the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: VISCERA. Post Match Viscera chokes Lee on the mat.

Tyson Tomko vs The Hurricane
Hurricane enters to a big pop as Coach & Grisham discuss his chances against Christian's Problem Solver noting that Tomko hasn't had many matches since having Surgery on his knee and will the knee hold up or give way during the match. Let's see if Hurricane can get a win. Tomko invites Hurricane to attack and they lockup. Tomko shoves Hurricane into the ropes, they go to lockup again, Hurricane ducks, grabs a side headlock, Tyson forces him off the ropes, and a shoulderblock sends Hurricane backwards. Tomko hits him in the back and throws off the ropes again. Hurricane ducks and stops himself, and taunts Tomko, "Wassupwidat". Tomko charges and eats an elbow and is rammed to the corner. Hurricane unloads with punches and begins a 10 punch in the corner combo. Tomko cuts him off after three and hoists him up in the air and chucks him face first into the turnbuckles before lifting him into a gorilla press and a fallaway slam sends Hurricane rolling to the outside. Tomko goes out, rams Hurricane into the ring apron and rolls him back in where he suffers an Irish whip and a back bodydrop. Tomko applies a chinlock to try and wear Hurricane down, Hurricane fights back and elbows free, Tomko punches back but Hurricane comes off the ropes and a flying takedown gets a one count. Tomko gets up and Hurricane is the recipient of a big clothesline and Tomko goes back to the chinlock. Hurricane elbows free again and Tomko punches him down. Tomko comes off the ropes but is greeted by a host of Hurricane roundhouses, Tomko reverses an Irish whip eats both Hurricane boots and Hurricane connects with a DDT from the second rope. Hurricane covers but only gets two. Hurricane goes to the top and lands a flying cross bodyblock but only gets two again. Hurricane comes off the ropes but Tomko boots him in the face and covers for two. Tomko can't believe it, gets Hurricane to his feet, and attempts a powerslam. Hurricane wriggles out, pokes Tomko in the eye but Tomko stops a whip to the ropes picks up Hurricane and delivers a fireman's carry into the form of a neckbreaker and covers for the victory. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: TYSON TOMKO.

Chris Jericho vs Steven Richards
Main Event time now folks. These two have met before in a good match so I'm looking forward to this rematch between the Highlight of the Night and the GM of Heat. Jericho is well received by the crowd as Coach & Grisham debate whether we're looking at the next interim GM of Raw in Y2J and during the match they debate whether the match with Richards is a tune up match for a possible world title shot against Triple H on Raw this week. Richards reminds us all it's his show when he gets to the ring and the crowd don't seem to be loving that. The bell rings and a huge Y2J chant breaks out as both men wait to lockup and Jericho laps it all up. Lockup, is broken, second lockup, Jericho applies a side headlock takedown which Stevie counters with a headscisssors. Jericho bounces out and breaks into a little dance which the crowd pops for. Stevie gets up close to Jericho, mimicks and shoves him, Jericho comes back with a vicious chop and a kick to the midsection sends Stevie into the corner. Jericho gets some shots in and whips Richards to the corner and follows him in with a clothesline which sends Stevie staggering. Jericho backelbows Stevie down and Stevie retreats outside. Stevie tries to get back in and Jericho approaches, Stevie cowers back as the referee ushers Jericho away and Stevie gets back in. Stevie calls for a test of strength, Jericho obliges but keeps switching arms and he boots Stevie in the midsection then lands punches. Stevie reverses whip to the ropes but Jericho boots Richards in the head and chops him down. Stevie off the ropes, attempts a sunset flip, Jericho falls back, grabs the legs and attempts the Walls of Jericho but Richards gets to the ropes before Jericho can flip him over. Stevie gets to his feet on the ring apron, Jericho blocks a punch pokes him in the eye but a dropkick attempt off the second rope goes awry when Richards ducks down and Jericho hits the floor feet first and falls. Richards goes and rolls Jericho back in, stomps away and hits a jumping neckbreaker and plays to the crowd who boo him out of the building. Stevie drops down onto Jericho and covers but can only get two. Richards lands a chop and a backdrop and covers again for a two count. Stevie locks in a chokehold on the canvas coupled with a bodyscissors, Jericho gets to his feet, backelbows out, goes to run the ropes but Stevie intercepts and pulls him back down by the face. Stevie picks Jericho up, knee to the midsection attempts a Stevie-plex but instead drops Jericho down with a neckbreaker. Stevie covers again but Jericho manages to get out at two. Stevie gets Jericho by the hair and places him in the second rope, chokes him with his leg and mimicks Jericho by running on the spot, throwing in some retro Dude Love, Blue Meanie movements and comes off the ropes to crash on top of Y2J in the ropes. Jericho turns round though and clotheslines Stevie down. Both men are down, both get up and Jericho punches and chops Richards, Richards reverses into ropes, Jericho comes back with a flying forearm to take Richards down. Jericho follows up with a shoulderblock, Richards then ducks a clothesline, Jericho taunts and Richards charges into a drop toehold resulting in him falling into the second rope. Jericho shows Richards how it's done by crashing into Richards who then stumbles into a Jericho bulldog. Jericho attempts the lionsault, Richards gets his knees up and hits a sitdown spinebuster and covers 1-2 no Jericho kicks out at two. I thought Stevie pulled off a shock win for sure then. Stevie is in disbelief so he pulls down a kneepad and readies Jericho for the Stevie Kick but Jericho catches the leg and counters into the Walls of Jericho and Stevie is flipped over this time and is stuck with nowhere to go in the middle of the ring. Stevie struggles and knowing he can't make it to the ropes he taps out to give Jericho the victory. Nice little match to end the show. Here is Your Winner: CHRIS JERICHO.

Grisham shills for Raw and thanks us for watching. End of show. I'll be back next week, but until then have a good week everybody. Later. Shaun.
