WWE House Show Results (11/22/04) - Elmira, New York

Report by: Chad, rajah.com reader

First I'd like to note that out of the 4 total house shows in Elmira that I've been to, this one was by far the best. Before the show, Rob Van Dam was standing by the entrence way talking to some of the kids that were sitting back there.

The show started off with the ring announcer coming out to the ring and explaining the rules. The national anthem played and it was time for the first match.

Match 01 -- Chavo Guerrero vs. Billy Kidman
Chavo came out to a huge pop. Kidman came out to a chorus of boos. He acted like he was afraid to get in the ring. He eventually got in and the match was pretty even. Kidman almost got the pin on many occasions as did Chavo. Eventually, Chavo hit the Gory Bomb and got the pin.

Winner: Chavo Guerrero

After the match, Jesus came in through the crowd and beat the crap out of Chavo. He took the mic and said that he was sending a message to John Cena.

Match 02 -- Orlando Jordon vs. Nunzio
Orlando came out and the announcer called his name but Orlando went over and told him to announce him as "Chief of Staff, Orlando Jordon" So, the announcer did. Then Nunzio came out and the match was on. It wasn't a real long match. I don't remember much about it but the guy sitting next to me kept calling Orlando a "Virgil wannabe" Orlando won the match.

Winner: Orlando Jordon

Theodore Long comes out and welcomes everyone to the show. He announces that JBL will be defending the WWE title. He says Booker T and Eddie Guerrero are in the house. He announces that there will be a hardcore match for the Tage Team titles. He also says that the main event will be Kurt Angle, Mark Jindrak and Luther Reigns vs. Rey Mysterio, Rob Van Dam, and the Big Show.

Match 03 -- Miss Jackie vs. Dawn Marie
Pretty decent match. Can't remember much detail. Just remember Dawn Marie's butt was hanging out of her shorts and that got a huge reaction from the crowd. Ended with Miss Jackie getting the pin.

Winner: Miss Jackie

Match 04 -- Heidenrich vs. Paul London
Heidenrich wrestled like half of the match before he ever took his straight jacket off. Let me just say that this man is a beast. He speared London in the stomach with his head and London did like a 360 degree turn in the air before landing on his back. The ref finally took the jacket off of Heidenrich and he basically mutilated London. The crowd started chanting for the Undertaker and that made him crazy. He finished London off with a shoulder breaker type move.

Winner: Heidenrich

After the match, he beat on London some more.

The next matchup was supposed to be Booker T vs. JBL for the WWE title. JBL came down and called Booker T out to the ring. He told Booker that he could win the match because he was leaving. JBL started to walk out but Theodore Long came out and said that he was going to defend the title, but not just against Booker T. Eddie Guerrero came out.

Match 05 -- WWE Title~Triple Threat Match~No DQ~ JBL vs. Eddie Guerrero vs. Booker T
Eddie and Booker spent the first few minutes beating on JBL. Eventually they started going at it. Orlando Jordon came down to the ring and he and Booker started fighting. At the end, Booker and both got knocked down, and Eddie went up for the frog splash, but Orlando knocked Eddie down. JBL rolled over on Booker for the three count.

Winner: JBL

Torrie Wilson came out and shot T-Shirts into the crowd.

INTERMISSION

Match 06 -- Tag Team Titles ~ Hardcore Rules ~ Rene Dupree and Kenzo Suzuki vs. Hardcore Holly and Charlie Haas
Pretty good match. Lots of weapon use. Kind of humorous too. Charlie Haas found a stack of garbage cans (3) under the ring and threw them in. Kenzo spent like 5 minutes on the outside of the ring trying to get them apart. Match ended with Rene Dupree hitting Haas with a belt, knocking him off the top rope, and then Kenzo hit his finisher.

Winners: Kenzo Suzuki and Rene Dupree

Match 07 -- Cruiserweight Title ~ Spike Dudley vs. Funaki
I didn't pay much attention to this match. Spike won with the Dudley Dog though.

Winner: Spike Dudley

Match 08 -- Six Man Tag ~ Big Show, Rey Mysterio and Rob Van Dam vs. Luther Reigns, Mark Jindrak and Kurt Angle
Big Show is freakin huge in person. A couple high spots in the match were Big Show double chokeslamming Reigns and Jindrak. Rey Mysterio got in a couple good cruiserweight moves. Match ended when Mark Jindrak fell into the ropes. Rey hit the 619 and RVD hit the five star frog splash.

Winners: Big Show, Rey Mysterio, and Rob Van Dam
