- The release of Gail Kim was said to be the second most criticized roster cut by WWE, only behind the dismissal of Test, who many felt should have been retained if only for the reason that he's still injured. It is believed that WWE only spent two days deciding whether to cut her not because she was actually involved in an angle on the 11/2 RAW with a partly new outfit.
- Ric Flair will be out of action for a few more weeks after suffering a ruptured blood vessel near his groin. He's been working with groin problems for weeks, thinking it was just a nagging pull but during a match with Randy Orton, the vessel actually burst but wasn't diagnosed until a couple days later when swelling got excessive.
