WWE RAW Report (3/1/04) - Atlanta, Georgia

WWE RAW report for 03/01/04

Hello again everyone and welcome back to your RajahWWF.com RAW report. I am your host, Jason (Jason_of_RajahWWF for all you Yahoo Messenger users) and this is your weekly dose of Journalistic Excellence. Here we go!

We begin with footage from last week of Mr. McMahon versus Eric Bischoff and Smackdown's Brock Lesnar laying waste to guest referee Sheriff Austin.

We cut to the arena, where La Resistance is in the protesting the fact that the illegal man was pinned in their tag match last week.

The music plays, the pyro blazes and we are LIVE from Atlanta, Georgia. Jim Ross and Jerry "The King" Lawler will have the call as the GLASS BREAKS and Sheriff Austin motors to the ring on his ATV. He Stuns Rene Dupree and chases La Resistance from the ring before settling into a proper...

Sheriff Austin Interview
-Brock Lesnar did more than just break the law last week, he pissed Austin off. Austin will have his chance to settle his anger management issues with both Lesnar and Goldberg as the guest referee for their match at WrestleMania XX. Austin will call the match right down the middle just as he sees it, but if either man gets in his face Austin will open up the biggest can of whoopass Madison Square Garden has ever seen. And that's the bottom line...NO CHANCE, THAT'S WHATCHA GOT. Here comes WWE Chairman Mr. McMahon. Austin makes a lousy referee; McMahon didn't know it was going to be Austin and Bischoff versus him in a handicap match last week. McMahon liked seeing Brock Lesnar F-5 Austin last week, but he didn't have anything to do with it. Austin might want to ask Eric Bischoff if he had something to do with it though. Austin is such a crappy referee that Vince wouldn't be surprised if both Lesnar and Goldberg beat the hell out of Austin at WrestleMania. If McMahon were Austin, he'd get on his little sheriffmobile and get the hell out of Atlanta. McMahon tries to say that's the bottom line, but Austin gets on the ATV and chases him out of the arena. McMahon retreats to the parking lot and into his limo, but Austin drives the ATV up onto the roof of the car and revs the engine for a while. Austin motors off the roof and McMahon jumps into the driver's seat of the limo takes off.

Jonathan Coachman catches up with Shawn Michaels in the hallway and asks about tonight's tag match. Michaels says that even though he and Benoit should be able to co-exist in the face of who their opponents are, but they won't be.

Elsewhere, Tough Enough 3's John Hennigan introduces himself to Eric Bischoff in the general manager's office. He flatters Bischoff about the match with Vince McMahon last week and Eric agrees to take Johnny Blaze, as Hennigan is now calling himself, on as his apprentice. Sheriff Austin bursts in and gets in Bischoff's face, but Eric says if he'd had anything to do with what happened with Brock Lesnar last week, he wouldn't have even shown up this week. Molly Holly then bursts in looking for a re-match with Victoria at WrestleMania XX. Bischoff grants it but, since Molly likes to pull hair so much, Sheriff Austin says that if Molly loses, Victoria will have the right to shave Molly's head bald. Molly is reluctant to end up looking like a bald-headed freak, (which earns a stare from Austin) but she agrees to the match. Johnny Blaze introduces himself to Austin, but the sheriff just walks away.

Rico attacks as Kane gets into the ring, but Kane shakes him off and goes after the girls. Stacy and Jackie cower and beg in adjacent corners, but Kane seems unimpressed. He goes after Stacy, but Rico is back up and he attacks Kane from behind. The girls escape as Rico kicks away at Kane, but he's soon chokeslammed for his valor. He did manage to save the girls though. Kane gets on the mic and says the people may be waiting for a resurrection, but The Dead Man is going to stay dead. No sooner does he say that than the lights go out and two burning Undertaker symbols appear alongside the TitanTron.

Mick Foley Interview
-Foley doesn't get two words out before Randy Orton, Batista and Ric Flair make their way to the ring and surround him. Orton realizes that Mick's interview last week was supposed to scare them, but now that they're all there, how does Mick want to handle this? Evolution can have their weekly Mick Foley Beatdown, but Mick can't want that. There is another option though; in fact it was Mick's idea. How about Mick versus Orton one-on-one at WrestleMania. Mick and Randy one-on-one? It sounds good on paper, but it'll never be that way. Mick is tired of getting his ass kicked three-on-one, so the hell with that match, Foley has a counter offer. It'll be Randy Orton, Batista and Ric Flair versus Foley and one partner of Mick's choosing. Orton knows Foley has no friends in the back, so Mick has to go outside and get a partner. Randy's heard the rumors, and judging by the crowd's chants, so have they, so why doesn't Mick go call Mr. Hollywood and tell him he's on. Foley doesn't have to go call him. In fact, instead of Mick going to call him, why doesn't he come out and meet them. Because Mick Foley said he was coming back to RAW, but he never said he was coming alone...IF YA SMELL, here comes The Rock. Rock and Foley clear the ring of Evolution with Orton getting the People's Elbow along the way. Rock says Evolution has signed on for the beating of a lifetime from the most electrifying team of all time, The Rock 'N Sock Connection.
