Attendance: 8023 / 8023
Looks like we're sold out and the crowd is hot! We open the night with:
Dark Match
1. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters def. Jobber - Masters uses his arrogance to draw some heat. The jobber gets a decent pop as he is announced as hailing from Huntsville. Masters takes it with a fisherman's suplex.
Sunday Night Heat tapings
Coachman comes out to some heat and we have our opening contest:
2. Trish Stratus def. Victoria - Trish out to a huge pop. Victoria gets a good pop but nothing like the one trish got. Decent match with Trish picking up the victory with the Stratusfaction.
3. Val Venis def. Jobber - Val comes out to a decent pop from the ladies. Jobber works on Val's leg and he sells it well. Val eventually takes it with a modified powerbomb.
4. Simon Dean and Hurriance battle to No Contest - Simon Dean out with protein bottle to some massive heat. Hurricane gets a large pop. Simon knocks out the referee and went to attack Hurricane with the protein but Rosey makes the save.
5. La Resistance def. Rhyno and Tajira - La Resistance out to tons of heat. Rhyno and Tajira get a large pop. Rhyno was over big time with the Huntsville crowd. Good energy in this one with lots of USA chants. La Resistance takes it by using the ropes on a pin.
Monday Night Raw
Energetic crowd. Nothing too exciting going on in the stands. I noticed that security is taking a ton of signs from fans for no apparent reason.
One note - This was my 16th live event, including 2 PPV. I've never ever seen a wrestler draw as much heat as Muhammad Hassan. Absoutely deafening heat.
After Show
6. Randy Orton def. HHH - Impromptu match sees Orton defeat HHH by reversing the Pedigree into an RKO. Slow match, but crowd was excited to see it.
Biggest Pops
1. Mick Foley
2. HHH
3. Randy Orton
4. Trish Stratus
5. Batista
6. Eugene
Biggest Heat
1. Muhammad Hassan <---- Again, most heat I've ever seen a wrestler draw, this guy can work the mic and is going to be HUGE
2. La Resistance
3. Maven
4. Simon Dean
5. Chris Masters
HHH drew a deafening mixed reaction. Edge got a pretty massive mixed reaction too.
