*The Wrestling-Observer Newsletter offers an update on a dispute backstage over whether to include past ECW stars that are not under WWE contract at the ECW PPV this June. It is too early too tell who's winning out, but it should be noted that even if outside stars are not brought in, quite a few past ECW names are with WWE.
Stephanie McMahon is believed to be one of the chief forces behind restricting the PPV to wrestlers presently under WWE contract. Vince McMahon is at least open to the idea of including past stars, although it is not known whether he will actually go through with the idea.
Another item of interest that keeps coming up regards Paul Heyman's possible role in the PPV. At this time, no information is available on Heyman's possible role. All that is known is that many believe without Heyman's influence, the PPV experience will be tainted.
