Lesnar to Leave WWE After WrestleMania, John Cena Interview

* The following notes are from the John Cena interviews which aired earlier today on WEEI (850-AM) sports talk station and JAMN 94.5, both in Cena's hometown of Boston, MA:

- Cena interviewed out of character and talked about his college football career, how he got into wrestling, the differences between Raw and Smackdown, how his character developed, the rigors of the road, the hierarchies of how people get over, and the role of steroids past and present in wrestling.
- Cena stated that he broke bones in his right wrist during his match with A-Train at the Smackdown taping this past Tuesday.
- when given 3 ladies' names and was asked which one he'd marry, which one he'd have sex with, and which one he'd throw off a bridge, Cena said he would "give his best 15 seconds" to Dawn Marie, would marry Sable, and would throw Torrie off the bridge. He said Torrie was too prissy, but would do whatever he had to do to keep Sable.
- Cena stated he works out every day for 1/2 to 1 full hour, likes watching "Family Guy" and "American Idol", and plays "Madden" to relax.

* In some rather unexpected news, it appears as if Brock Lesnar may join Bill Goldberg in leaving the WWE sometime after this month's WrestleMania XX pay-per-view. Lesnar is said to be discontent backstage and was very upset that he had to fly all the way to South Africa "just to wrestle Hardcore Holly" instead of being used in a higher profile match on the tour. With his long term contract reportedly signed for 7 years, Lesnar doesn't feel he is being protected properly for the long term by the WWE. He is also upset that the current plan is for him to face the Undertaker as he feels he will likely "be fed" to the Undertaker, thus discounting his character. Lesnar isn't alone in this thinking as many have voiced their opinions against the return of the no-selling "Deadman" gimmick. He and McMahon were said to have had a very intense discussion last week resulting in his considering to take some time off after WM XX. As of this report, the WWE isn't making any post-WrestleMania plans involving Lesnar and have removed his name from all publicity material for upcoming shows.
