- This week's edition of Smackdown did a 3.4 broadcast rating according to Nielsen, which is down from the 3.6 the show pulled in last week. The highest rated segment of the show was when Eddie Guerrero was confronted by Brock Lesnar.
- The WWE had another meeting with the RAW and Smackdown talent and crew this week. One of the topics discussed was a decision to give WWE referees more credibility by having them enforce rules and less referee distractions, missed tags, etc.
- OrgonLive.com posted an interview they conducted with Steve Austin earlier this week. He said his trip to Iraq last month was one of his best experiences in his life. In the interview Austin said he once owed the IRS $360,000 in back taxes. Regarding a future match, he said: "Later on down the road, if I feel like I can have a good match with the right person, I would consider it," Austin said. "Never say never.
