- Rey Mysterio is suffering from dizziness and will be out of action for several weeks. This injury should not affect the Smackdown brand since Smackdown writer Dave Lagana recently told Mysterio that the creative team had no new ideas in store for his character for the time being. Lagana gave Mysterio permission to present any ideas that he had for his character. It should be noted that a couple of months ago Mysterio was told that the writers had big plans for him as a heavyweight.
- Despite what people have been reporting, Brock Lesnar will not be returning to WWE and there have been no talks between Lesnar and WWE officials about a return. Lesnar is scheduled to work out for NFL officials on May 18 in Phoenix, AZ.
