Last week, The Big Show and Eddie Guerrero went toe to toe in a match that Big Show
was confident he was going to win, so confident that he was going to quit if he
lost. Eddie landed the frog splash on Big Show and picked up the win and leading
the audience in a goodbye chant. Big Show went on a tirade backstage and accused
Torrie of laughing at him, then he smashed her car and literally turned it over! At
the end of the show, Show had Torrie cornered on a ledge to which Kurt Angle came to
make the save. Kurt met his demise when Big Show chokeslammed Angle off the 25 foot
ledge to the concrete!

At ringside, Michael Cole and Tazz recapped the shocking goings on from last weeks
show. Kurt Angle is in the hospital and is recovering from the fall.

Rob Van Dam vs Booker T
This was a rematch from last week. Booker T had brutalized Van Dam last week and
RVD was out for revenge! As Booker approached the ring, RVD was quick to baseball
slide dropkick Booker, following up with a flying crossbody. The two battled on the
outside for a bit, RVD landed a nice over the top rope leg drop to Booker T on the
apron! The match officially began once they both got in the ring. RVD was on the
offensive through most of the match. The action went to the outside once more as
RVD clotheslined Booker to the floor. Back to the ring, RVD hit a beautiful jumping
spin kick following up with a spinning heel kick for the two count. Booker T gets
some offense and hits a hook kick on Van Dam. Picking RVD up, Booker latched on a
cobra clutch type maneuver. RVD counters with a belly to back suplex, folding the
Book man in half! RVD hit another springboard kick and landed three consecutive
spiral legdrops on Booker. RVD then went for the rolling thunder, hit it, then went
to the top rope for the five star. All of a sudden, the Smackdown! pyro went off
scaring RVD, allowing Booker T to roll him up for the pin fall.
Winner - Booker T

To everyone's surprise, Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring and announces that
he's GM for one night only! Apparently, Vince McMahon said he's the only man he
trusts to run Smackdown! while Kurt is away.

Commercial Break

In the ring, Heyman confronts RVD and tells him that he single handedly
revolutionized Thursday night television so that guys like RVD can say he's Mr.
Thursday Night. Heyman also says that the whole locker room turned on him and
they're all ungrateful. He brings up ECW and how he made that company rise to
national fame. Out comes the Dudley Boyz who immediately talk down to Heyman saying
whatever he has to says to RVD, he says to them too. Heyman's response was to put
down The Dudleyz and critique their performance saying they're no longer extreme or
newsworthy, just Vince McMahon's tamed domesticated pets. The words were too much
to handle as D-von Dudley attacked Rob Van Dam! The two beat him down to prove to
Heyman that they've still got it and they're truly extreme. Bubba responds to
Heyman with "How tame was that?" As Heyman retreats, he explains that its just a
start, but very good.

Commercial Break

After the commercial, a replay is shown in the ring where The Dudley Boyz beat down
RVD.

Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty vs Charlie Haas and Rico w/Jackie Gayda
WWE Tag Team Championship match --
The first ones out are the current champions, Rikishi and Scotty 2 Hotty. Following
their intro, Charlie Haas comes down to the ring and awaits his mystery partner.
"You look so. good too me!" Charlie immediately gets grossed out and has that
queasy look on his face as Rico makes his way to the ring. Rico goes after Haas
right away pushing him to the corner for some lovin'! Rico starts off the match
against a bewildered Rikishi. It was clear Rikishi had the strength advantage but
mentally, it was all Rico. Rico used several antics to shock the Keesh who tagged
in a nervous looking Scotty. The two lock it up, Scotty tries for an arm bar but
Rico counters into a. a tango? He struts around the ring for a bit with Scotty who
stands back. Haas tags himself in while yelling at Rico to cut it out. Scotty
immediately goes for the roll up on Haas for the two count. Haas gets rammed into
the corner and Scotty pulls his legs into the steel post, what a crotch shot! Haas'
expression isn't as Rico is quick to check the area where Haas was hurt. Haas
pushes him away but Scotty collides their heads together. Haas regains control of
the match and gives Scotty the snake eyes in the corner. Rico blind tagged in and
did a bizarre pin on Scotty. Scotty kicked out and Haas blind tagged himself back
in. Scotty escapes Haas and tags in Rikishi who goes to work on Charlie. Haas
falls to the corner and has a stink face coming to him but Rico saves him. The
catch was, Rico wanted the stink face! He set himself up in the corner, lubed up
his lips, and let Rikishi give it to him. Keesh tags out and Scotty goes for the
worm on Haas. Rico grabs Scotty and lays a big kiss on him. Haas rolls up a
shocked Scotty for the three count and the tag team belts!! Haas realized who his
partner is and again looked queasy. He was very friendly with Jackie but ran away
when Rico slapped his ass.
Winner - Charlie Haas and Rico (new champions)

Cut to the Big Show/Torrie Wilson recap where Show smashed out Torrie's windows and
tipped her car over.

John Bradshaw Layfield met Paul Heyman in the back and thanked him for opening up
his eyes. He goes on about his financial wellbeing and business savvy. Heyman
brings up that he was punked out at the airport by the champion of Mexico, El Gran
Luchadore. Bradshaw downplays the story as Heyman thinks it's a good idea that El
Gran wants to take on Bradshaw at Smackdown! Before leaving, Bradshaw thinks it
would be a good idea to make Eddie Guerrero wrestle tonight, Paul Heyman agrees and
says he will face "The Dudley". Which Dudley? Stick around and find out.

John Bradshaw Layfield vs El Gran Luchadore (Paul London)
JBL comes out with his bull horned limo. He's now being announced as residing in
New York City. He enters the ring in "I'm running for mayor" fashion complete with
the sports jacket and cowboy hat. El Gran Luchadore came out wearing the supposed
Mexican championship belt. He cut a promo earlier saying he'll put Bradshaw in his
place and defend his people in Spanish. Throughout the match, Bradshaw was just
powering down the guy with move after move. El Gran managed to duck a big boot but
Bradshaw quickly came back. El Gran had very little offense which included a
tiltawhirl headscissor take down and a moonsault which got a two count on JBL! He
tries for a springboard crossbody but JBL catches him and hits the last call
following up with a vicious powerbomb! JBL pins El Gran but pulls him up and teases
him. After giving him a few more hits, he went for the pin again but again pulled
El Gran up. To add insult to injury, he let El Gran pin him and kicked out,
pretending to be tired. JBL set El Gran up for the clothesline from hell and won
the match.
Winner - John Bradshaw Layfield
