- There are a couple different reasons why the Hirohito character was scrapped. The first, as has already been reported, is that many feared that it would give WWE a negative image in Japan as it would seem to many that they would be trying to play out a World War II type gimmick using a famous Japanese cultural symbol. As well, Hirohito was supposed to be pushed hard upon his debut as a heel who hated America, but with many of RAW's top babyfaces from Canada, it was thought to not be a logical idea.
- There have been some thoughts of pushing Booker T in a new role in the mold of the old Papa Shango gimmick, except it would be more "outlandish" as a result of his feud with the Undertaker.
- Mordecai has been told by WWE officials to stop selling so much in his matches and just concentrate on beating people up instead of trying to put on a good match.
