WWE RAW Live from the Target Center 1/14
They start off with the national anthem and as I predicted La Resistance interupts
the anthem to a course of Boos and here come Rosey and Hurricane ...
Hurricane and Rosey vs. La Resistance
A slow start and a couple of headlocks, shoulder tackles and each got their spots in
until the devistating SAMOAN DROP WITH NECKBREAKER!!! by 3 minute warning I mean
Rosey and Jamal I mean Rosey and Hurricane
Winners: Rosey and Hurricane
Also by the way The arena is about 1/3rd full with the whole upperdeck empty, yet
the floor and the majority of the lower bowl was sold out. So in an 18,000 seat
arena I would say 5,000.
Royal Rumble qualifying match
Christian w/ Tomko vs. Regal
A good match with some funny spots, a lot of toddlers in the crowd were upset Eugene
wasnt there. Very sad. Christian grabs regals belt but it backfires as a big boot to
his face then a distracted ref putting the belt back doesnt see tomko CRUSH regal
with the BIG BOOT!! Christian with the roll up
Winner: Christian
IC Title Match
Benjerman vs. Maven
First off I need to say what the hell is on the front of Benjermans new shirt and
who would wear it? Maven pulls some buying time spots like New Years Revolution and
Claims Benjerman should be DQ'ed for too much oil on his body. Lame match until the
Tazz Tbone suplex/ pin from hell by Benjerman
Winner: Shelton
Chris Jericho vs. A-rab american turncoat!! Muhammad Hassan with random funny manager
So-so match Muhammad pulls a steiner with showing his whole move set with seems to
be bodyslam, punch, kick, irish whip, suplex (repeat) Jericho gets his spots in and
a Lionsault then Manager guy interfears Jericho gives him the LionTamer/ Walls of
Jericho, And Muhammad school boys Y2J For the Uno dos three
Winner: Muhammad Hassan
Jericho then recieved a Benoit Royal Rumble 2003 esque standing obvation and you
could read Jerichos lips saying "Your the reason I do this"
Hardcore Match
Kane vs. Gene Snitski
Snitski starts with an amazing promo proclaming "Im gonna kick his ass".. Kane then
comes out with Red lighting very 1998.. They continue to wrestle in Red lighting
Very 1998... Snitski then goes under the ring for some trash cans and pans and
Hockey sticks.. Starts nailing kane with hockey stick, Kane then shows some love
with a weight belt, very hulk hogan.. And snitski recieves a chokeslam for his
troubles, very short match
Winner: Kane
Then an Intermission... T-shirt Guy, And back to the action
Victoria vs. Molly w/ Val Venis as Ref
Val cuts a Im kinda like concrete promo because I like to get it wet and get hard..
Yes for 1998 esque promos... A good match yet the fans here show no love as it is
quiet in the arena but Victoria comes up with the win with the Widows peak
Winner: Victoria
Coach comes out with a Batista shirt saying thats his boy... And then introduces
christy, who is bomb in person and Introduces her to Simon Dean, Gimmick of the
year, He goes on to say shes fat and wants her to drink his Simon Fat loss burner
protine shake and she throws the powder in his eyes and low blows Coach.... Which
leads us into
Benoit vs. Edge
A good solid match, as im a mark for Edge's heel run, A lot of chops, looks brutal
live, some good spots Edge I believe wins with interfearence by coach and a spear..
Winner Edge
Randy Orton vs. Batista
Batista Gets a huge pop and Orton gets a some boos and cheers, very mixed. All the
over 18 males cheered for batista and all the women and under 18 males cheered for
orton. There yea go. Batista contuined to smack talk a 2 year old at ringside, which
was quite funny a lot of teasing of finishers until Orton wins with the Diamond
cutter or I mean the RKO
Winner Orton
The ring announcer then Confirms It to be true that WWE Smackdown will present
Judgment Day PPV May 22nd at the Target Center!!! Woohoo the first one since
Summerslam 1999. Tixs go on sale March 5th I believe...
Onto HBK vs. Ric Flair
A great match the 2 of them went a good 20 minutes, the funnyest spot had to be a
sunset flip by Michaels and as flair reached for the rope down goes Flairs trunks as
he is running around the ring bareass and goes to the top rope for his infamous
"what am i doing up here oh no im getting tossed off" spot Bare ass. Hillarious, HBK
then gets the Sweet chin music for the 123

All and all a great live show, Great news for Minnesota WWE Fans and the Judgment
day PPV...
