According to sources backstage in WWE, Vince McMahon injured both is quads at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view last month, during his miss-judged leap under the ropes towards the finale of the show. Dr. James Andrews performed surgery on one of his quads, however it’s not certain whether he had it on his other. Right now, Vince is rehabbing in Connecticut. It’s not known how long he’ll take to recover, however it’s expected to be some time before he’s back to 100%.
Amy Webber is still listed as a Smackdown superstar, on the WWE.Com superstar’s page. However, don’t read anything in to this, as it doesn’t mean she will return back on Smackdown any time soon, if at all. Apparently she doesn’t want to return to the show, however WWE officials are trying their best to get her to reconsider.
John Cena will be appearing at a UHL Hockey game February 23rd for the Danbury Trashers signing autographs as the Smackdown! brand will be appearing at the O'Neill Center (where ECW held one of their PPV's) for a house show that weekend.
