I'm trying to make it a habit to watch TNA Impact more often so I'm not kept out of the loop as far as the recent happenings go. I haven't been watching it as often as I'd like, so I'm working on changing that. I may do the results a bit infrequently, but I will do the best that I can.
I hear that Frankie Kazarian recently left TNA and has gone on to join WWE. I don't know too much about him, but I hear he was a force when he teamed with Michael Shane and I hope he becomes a major player in the WWE. Nothing sucks more when you get a talented wrestler and let their talent go misused. I hear that he isn't going to OVW, so that must be a good sign that the WWE has high hopes for him. It'll just be interesting to see how well he does (I think a good way to introduce him on TV would be to have him be the one to beat Kurt Angle in the Kurt Angle Invitational, but that's just me).
The show opens and the announcers take us backstage where we see Abyss assaulting the Charismatic Enigma. Abyss goes to move some tables, and this allows Jeff Hardy to recover and send Abyss into another table (Funny moment: a couple of guys were sitting at a table and they acted like they didn't even care what was going on until Abyss started throwing things)
Match #1:
Team Canada vs. Dustin Rhodes (formerly Goldust) & America's Most Wanted:
It's Petey Williams and James Storm kicking things off for this match as they lock up and Storm wrenches Petey's arm. This match is intense as Harris hits a flying clothesline. Petey tries again to get on the offensive, but he is met with a spinebuster. Harris tries for a pin, but Team Canada enters the ring to break it up and this match has quickly broken down.
D'Amore tries to get involved, but Dustin Rhodes connects with a back drop. However, Johnny Devine comes in while the ref is distracted and hits Dustin Rhodes with the hockey stick. Chris Harris comes in to go after him and he steals the hockey stick from Devine. He goes to use it on another Canadian member, but Bobby Roode nails him from behind and wins the match,
