Hey Rajah, just got back from the RAW house show and I must say this one of
the best house shows I've seen in a good while. It was the first time the
WWE had done a show in the Special Events Center rather than the actual
coliseum. It was mainly due to the fact that the ACC Women's Basketball
Tournament was going on next door. But it was a packed house, not a seat
left in the place. But here's the results of the show.

The show starts with the ring announcer coming to the ring and then asks the
crowd to stand for the national anthem. The music starts to play and then in
the middle of the anthem La Resistance's music hits. They draw major heat
from the crowd, Conway tells the crowd to shut up so Slyvain can sing the
Canadian national anthem. After two minutes of hearing Slyvain's horrible
singing, Regal & Tajiri hit the ring and start our first match of the night.

Match #1 World Tag Team Championship: William Regal & Tajiri vs. La
Resistance'

This match starts off with Tajiri and Conway locking up. A lot of great hard
kicks from Tajiri in this match. At one point of the match, La Resistance
works solely on Tajiri's leg and keeps him isolated from getting the tag
from Regal. But Tajiri eventually tags Regal in and starts cleaning house.
The match ends with Regal hitting a modified T-bone suplex on Conway for the
win.

Winner: Regal & Tajiri

Match #2 Val Venis vs. "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters

Before the match starts Val hands his towel to a little girl in the front
row and then Masters yells "I got something for you too kid!!" and spits his
gum at the girl (a master piece of s--t, real classy). In my eyes Val is
heavily underrated and is a great wrestler, while Masters needs to still
work on his in-ring ability. The match ends with Masters hitting the lame
and pathetic Full Nelson on Val for the win.

Winner: Chris Masters

At this point of the show, The Coach comes out. He says that ACC Women's
Basketball Tournament is happening next door, and its only right, because
where ever The Coach goes women are sure to follow (yeah right). Anyways, he
introduces Christy Hemme and talks to her about her posing in Playboy. Coach
says that she be thanking him because if it weren't for him, she wouldn't be
where she is today on Raw or in Playboy. Christy says she wants to show the
Coach her appreciation and gets behind and low blows him. Christy then goes
and poses on each turnbuckle. But then Trish Stratus comes down and gets in
Christy's face and backs her into a corner. Trish is about to beat her down
till Victoria comes down to make the save. This starts our next match.

Match #3 - Women's Championship: Trish Stratus vs. Victoria

First thing I gotta say, both Trish and Victoria are hot in person. Its a
quick pace match that ends with Trish getting a roll up on Victoria using
leverage on the ropes.

Winner: Trish Stratus

Match #4 - Chris Jericho vs. Christian with Tyson Tomko

This was probably the second best match of the night. Christian enters with
his man goat Tyson Tomko and then Y2J enters second. Jericho got a
tremendous pop, and this pissed Christian off. Jericho poses for the crowd
and they go crazy, Christian tries to jump over the top into the ring and
ends up falling flat on his face. A lot of CLB chants break out. A lot of
good spots in this match, it was both entertaining and intense. At one point
of the match, Tomko gets ejected from ringside for tripping Jericho. The
ending of the match comes when Christian attempts an Unprettier and Jericho
reverses it into the Walls of Jericho, which forces the CLB to tap out.
Afterwards Y2J stays in the ring and poses to the crowd

Winner: Y2J

Match #5 - Kane vs. Tyson Tomko

No wonder Tomko got ejected, had to get ready for his own match. Not too
much going on for this match, I'll admit Tomko had a few good spots,
especially with the boot to the face of Kane. The match ends with Kane
giving Tomko the Chokeslam.

Winner: Kane

Match #6 Chris Benoit vs. Muhammad Hassan with Khosrwo Daivari

As soon as Hassan's music hits, the crowd gives him a tremendous amount of
boos. Hassan then gets on the mic and rants & raves about how unfair he is
treated because he's Arab American, which is followed by Daivari yelling in
Arabic. He's suddenly interupted by Chris Beniot who comes out to a
tremendous pop. A lot of USA chants in this match, even though Beniot is
Canadian and Hassan is from Michigan (how ironic). A lot of technical skill
was used in this match. Beniot hits his ususal spots such as the Multiple
German Suplexes, sharpshooter, and diving headbutt. The ending of the match
came when Beniot had the Crossface locked on Hassan, he was about to tap out
until Daivari came in the ring and caused the DQ. As soon as Daivari causes
the DQ, Beniot slaps the Crossface on him and has Daivari tapping out.

Winner: Chris Beniot by DQ

At this point, its time for intermission

Match #7 Intercontinental Championship Match: Shelton Benjamin vs. Gene
Snitsky

Much like the match on this past week's RAW. Throughout the match, Snitsky
constantly yells at the crowd. The match ends with Benjamin hitting the
Dragon Whip on Snitsky. After the match, Snitsky is furious and hits Shelton
with a boot to the face and then leaves.

Winner: Shelton Benjamin

Match #8 Shawn Michaels vs. Edge

Edge comes out to a mixed amount of cheers and boos. HBK got the loudest pop
of the night by far. As soon as HBK hits the ring, they start going at it.
This was probably the match of the night and I must say it was just as good
as the Royal Rumble match and also the street fight on last weeks RAW. At
one point, HBK is about to hit Sweet Chin Music, but Edge reverses it and
hits a spear for the two count. Edge starts arguing with the ref and turns
right around and into the super kick, giving HBK the 1,2,3.

Winner: HBK

Randy Orton & Batista vs. Triple H & Ric Flair

Flair enters the ring first and the crowd goes crazy (Its only right, this
is Flair Country). Next up is the Game, who comes out to a mixed reacton of
cheers & boos. Randy Orton comes out next and starts brawling with both HHH
and Flair by himself. While Orton is beating down Flair in the corner, HHH
gets a chair and clocks Orton with it. This brings Batista out and the crowd
goes crazy once again. He chases Flair and Trips out of the ring. The
referees and trainer are looking at Orton on the outside of the ring and
then they carry him to the back (wasn't sure if this was legit, or just a
shoot). Batista gets on the mic and says that HHH & Flair aren't gonna
escape that easily. He says that he and the people of Greensboro came here
for a fight and that they were gonna get one, even if it meant him taking on
both Flair & Trips. So now the tag match is turned into a Handicap match.

so now.....

Batista vs. Triple H & Ric Flair

The match starts off with Flair against Batista, a lot of funny spots right
here as Flair hits his ususal falling spot. Finally we get a preview of
Wrestlemania as Batista and HHH go at it. At one point of the match Triple H
hits a hard Arn Anderson like spinebuster on Batista. But The Animal
eventually rebounds and hits spinebusters on both the Nature Boy and the
Game. Flair is thrown out of the ring and Batista hits the Batista Bomb on
HHH for the win. Afterwards Batista poses for the crowd before leaving.

Winner: Batista

All in all, this is probably the best house show I've seen so far. It sucks
that Orton didn't participate in the Main Event. A lot of Randy Orton fans
were pissed because of that.
