- Early estimates of this year's Royal Rumble figures have it doing 458,000 buys for a 0.83 buyrate. That is down from last year's 585,000 buys but will probably succeed the numbers from 2003 (485,000 buys) when all is said and done. That would rank this year's Rumble as the third lowest of all the past 17 events.
- Johnny Swinger's WWE contract is for three years, effective March 14.
- Dean Malenko is said to want to come out of retirement for one final match against Eddie Guerrero for the ECW PPV later this year.
