WWE RAW Report
Aired LIVE! From Fort Worth, Texas
March 28th, 2005
Reported by: The Worm, rajah.com RAW reporter

RAW opens with the Highlight Reel and we're only six days away from Wrestlemania 21. Jericho continues to plug Wrestlemania and how he'll be making history when he wins the first ever six man ladder match. He then talks about how much he wants to be WWE Champion again and he then introduces his guests, Chris Benoit & Shelton Benjamin.

With his guests in the ring, he tells Benjamin & Benoit that he'll do whatever it takes to win as it's every man for himself. It's Benoit's turn on the mic. He has a problem with Jericho saying how he'll be the one to win out of everyone else. Benoit says he won the title last year at WM20 and there's no greater feeling. He'll do anything to regain that feeling.

Benjamin says he's beyond hunger because he's never been a World champion. He then says that out of everyone in that match, he's the only one who knows what it feels like to be champion. The trio are interrupted by Christian and Tyson Tomko and he comes out saying that everyone looks full of crap. Christian says his piece and then the faces mock him. They're next interrupted by Edge, and as long as they're all coming out to say a little something about their match at Wrestlemania, I'll be back in a moment to get something to eat. Before I leave, all hell has broken loose and the faces are left standing in the ring.

Commercial Break

Six Man Tag

Chris Jericho, Shelton Benjamin, & Chris Benoit vs. Edge, Christian, & Tyson Tomko:

We join this match in progress as we learn Bischoff laid down the law by making this match during the break. Benjamin knocks Christian down with a shoulder block and he makes the cover, but Christian kicks out. Christian is somehow able to make the tag to Tyson Tomko and he tosses Benjamin into his corner. Benjamin fights out of the corner and he whips Tomko, Tomko reverses, and Benjamin knocks Christian off the apron only to be hit with a Tomko power slam. Tomko goes for a pin, but Benjamin kicks out and Edge is tagged in.

Edge works on Benjamin's back and then chokes him on the middle rope. Edge suplexes Benjamin after taunting Y2J & Benoit and then tags in Christian. Christian whips Benjamin, but Benjamin counters with a cross body. Christian has Benjamin in a front face lock and Benjamin tries to fight out of it, but instead is able to make the tag to Benoit. The ref didn't see it and Benjamin gets beat down by the heels.

Benjamin is now in a headlock and he is able to fight out of it. Benjamin tries to regain control, but they end up clotheslining each other. Benjamin makes the pin to Benoit and Benoit cleans house. Benoit suplexes Edge and follows it up on Christian. Benoit tries for the rolling Germans, but Edge counters only to get tied up in a Sharpshooter. Christian breaks it up and Benoit ends up hitting the rolling Germans on him instead. Benoit tries for the flying headbutt, but Tomko gets involved and Edge ends up crotching Benoit on the top rope. Edge comes off the top with a superplex as we go to another commercial break.

Commercial Break

We're back and it's Christian in control of Benoit as he drops an elbow and makes the cover, but to no avail. Christian busts Benoit's head open even more as he punches it. Benoit fights back with chops and he goes to bounce off the ropes, but he gets nailed with a back elbow. Christian goes for a pin, but it gets broken up.

Christian puts Benoit on the top turnbuckle and he attempts a superplex, but Benoit headbutts him to knock him off. Benoit connects with the flying headbutt and Benoit is bleeding like crazy. Jericho gets tagged in and he cleans house and follows it up with an enziguiri to Tomko. Y2J goes for a cover, but Christian breaks it up. All hell breaks loose as Edge inadvertently spears Tomko, Edge & Christian get into a shoving match, Benoit gets clocked with a Dragon Whip from Benjamin that was intended for Edge, Benjamin hits a T-Bone on Christian, and Y2J gets Tomko to tap out to the Walls

Winner: Chris Jericho, Chris Benoit, & Shelton Benjamin

Post-match, Christian assaults Jericho with the ladder, but Kane comes out and wipes the ring with the heels. He climbs the ladder to set off his pyro, and will Kane be the one winning the ladder match this Sunday? Tune into Wrestlemania to find out!

Commercial Break

The announcers plug the WM21 movie trailers and then we see the "When Harry Met Sally" parody w/ Christy & Angle.

Bischoff enters Batista's locker room and he wants to be sure that there will not be any physicality between Triple H & Batista. Batista says he won't start anything but if Triple H starts something, he'll finish it.

We then see Christy & Lita getting ready for the arm wrestling match, which is up next.

Commercial Break

The Stunna of the Night recaps Molly Holly suffering a defeat at the hands of Christy Hemme.

Arm Wrestling Match

Christy Hemme (w/ Lita) vs. Trish Stratus:

Jack Doan explains the rules and before we starts, Trish relinquishes her grip on Christy because she wants to warm up first. She poses for Christy and then we get set up again. Christy quickly pins Trish to win this match while Trish argues with the ref.

Winner: Christy Hemme

Trish says she wasn't ready and wants a rematch.

They start up again and again Christy quickly pins Trish's arm.

Winner: Christy Hemme

Post-match, Trish assaults Lilian and then as Lita checks on her, Trish kicks her in the ass to knock her down.

Backstage, we see Orton walking around and I guess he's heading out to the ring.

Commercial Break

The Stone Cold Stunner moment recaps Austin driving a beer truck into the arena and hosing the Corporation with beer.

Randy Orton makes his way out to the ring and we see a recap of Stacy getting RKOed from last week. It sounds like people aren't sure whether to cheer or boo him right now until You Suck chants fire up.

Last week Orton asked Stacy a question. Do you think that Orton can beat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania? After he asked her that question, she hesitated. Orton didn't. His message was made clear: you're either with Orton or against him.

Stacy, since she wasn't with him, she was a distraction. Orton promised he'd eliminate all distractions and now he knows why the Undertaker is undefeated at Wrestlemania and it's because his opponents had themselves beat before they even got into the ring. Orton isn't scared and he can see his future, and it doesn't involve a headstone. It involves a Hall of Fame plaque saying "Randy Orton: 3rd Generation Superstar, youngest World champion, and also the only man to defeat the Undertaker at Wrestlemania."

Years from now, people will be talking about Orton's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania and it all started last year. Orton gets interrupted by the Undertaker's entrance and a video displays on the Tron showcasing each of the Taker's Wrestlemania wins and it ends with an ominous message for Randy Orton.

Orton looks freaked out and all of a sudden pyro explodes and the ringposts are on fire. Orton hightails it out of the ring and he looks around in fear as we go to commercial.

Commercial Break

Orton's walking around backstage when he stops as Kane is calling for him. They talk about what just happened and while Orton says he isn't scared of the Dead Man, his face tells another story. Kane tells him that he can't beat what he can't understand. Orton knows what he needs to do, but if he wants to show the Taker he isn't afraid, he's got six days to do it.

Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match

William Regal & Tajiri (C) vs. Simon Dean & Maven vs. La Resistance:

It's Tajiri & Simon Dean starting this match off as Simon Dean takes it to Tajiri. He tags in Maven and they double team Tajiri. Tajiri fires off some kicks as he tags in William Regal and they double team Maven. Regal kicks Maven in the back and then connects with an overhead slam. La Resistance jump in to double team Regal and then Maven traps Regal's leg as he tags in Simon Dean.

Simon Dean uses a neckbreaker and then goes for a pin, but Conway breaks it up. Grenier tags himself in and he punches Regal. Conway is tagged in and they use a double team manuever and then Conway goes for a pin, but it gets broken up.

Grenier is tagged in and it's more double team action on Regal and Grenier has Regal in a unique submission hold. Regal fights out of it, but he gets clocked by Conway. Regal is able to tag in Tajiri as he takes it to Rob Conway. Conway whips Tajiri, and Tajiri uses a springboard flip to nail Maven off the apron.

Tajiri wins this match as he nails the Kick of Death on Maven.

Winner: William Regal & Tajiri

Backstage, we see Triple H staring into the mirror as Bischoff enters the room and he warns him about there being no physicality during the face-off. Triple H yells at Bischoff and he basically dictates to Bischoff as to what's going to happen tonight.

Commercial Break

My laptop's battery died on me, so rather than waiting for my laptop to boot up after plugging it in, I decided it'd be better just to watch the rest of the show. I apologize for the inconvenience.

The Rest of the Show:

Muhammad Hassan vs. Shawn Michaels ended in a disqualification after Kurt Angle jumped the barrier and assaulted Shawn Michaels. Angle ended up leaving through the crowd afterwards when security guards came down to remove him.

The face-off between Batista and Triple H ended when the two got into a brawl. Security tried to separate the two, but they'd always break free and go back to beating each other. The show ended with Triple H & Ric Flair going up the ramp with Batista glaring at them from the ring.
