Hogan Returns For One More Match, Batista Defends World Heavyweight Title Against Triple H at Backlash Pay-Per-View
STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 18, 2005--The legendary Hulk Hogan returns to action for one more match at World Wrestling Entertainment®'s RAW® branded Pay-Per-View, Backlash®, on May 1, 2005, in Manchester, N.H.
Hogan, arguably the most famous Superstar ever, will appear on Monday Night RAW before a sold out crowd at New York City's Madison Square Garden tonight, April 18, to accept the invitation of "The Heartbreak Kid," Shawn Michaels(TM), to be his tag team partner. This sets up, for the first-time ever, a dream pairing of these two celebrated Superstars as they face WWE Superstars Mohammed Hassan(TM) and Daivari(TM) at Backlash.
Batista(TM), fresh off winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Triple H® at WrestleMania® 21, makes his first Pay-Per-View title defense at Backlash. It will be Triple H versus Batista again as Triple H, the 10-time world champion, will be driven to recapture the title he lost at WrestleMania.
