Steve Austin was interviewed regarding the Longest Yard movie.
It was a short interview, interrupted by a call-in guest Tim Green, former NFL player, Fox announcer, and lately host of A Current Affair and author.
Highlights:
-Austin admitted he was a fan of the original Longest Yard film, having seen it "five or six times."
-When Tim Green was asked if he knew Austin, Green said he knew Goldberg from being teammates with him on the Atlanta Falcons. That sent Austin off on a funny rant.
-Austin said he had a bigger role on MTV Punk'd than The Longest Yard. He said he's in it for 46 seconds so "don't go to the bathroom or you'll miss me."
-Austin took over interviewing Green about his book and made several funny comments including joking that he wrote a book about a death row inmate in Texas, but he was killed in prison so he had nothing to write about after chapter three.
-Austin said he was going to get a helicopter and fly to South Africa and bust Dave Chappelle out of a psychiatric hospital.
Austin was in a good mood and very funny. The timing of the interview was screwed up by the Tim Green call in and it was too short.
