WWE RAW House Show
Portland, Oregon - Rose Garden, 6.17.2005

Rose Garden's lower bowl was probably 3/4 full for this so guesstimate of attendance about 6,000 or so. Loud crowd though overall.
Show kicked off with the Coach coming out to some good boos saying he was in charge for the night as ordered by Eric Bischoff.
Intercontinental Title
Shelton Benjamin def. Chris Jericho and Christian w/Tomko
Lots of stalling at the beginning, back and forth affair. Christian got thrown into the turnbuckle multiple times at the start by both combatants. Jericho spent most of the match outside on the floor. Tomko was thrown out for interfering. Benjamin won with the T-Bone and pinned Christian. Christian was booed afterwards by the crowd as he layed in the ring.
Tajiri def. Tyson Tomko
I went for a beer during the beginning of the match but Tajiri used his normal array of kicks and won with an enziguiri. ECW chants throughout this match
Tag Titles
Rosey and Hurricane def. Maven and Simon Dean and Heart Throbs
Heart Throbs did their normal dance shtick, lots of stalling in other words. Rosey was surprisingly over with the Portland crowd. Match ended with Rosey and Hurricane's tandem move from the top rope and Hurricane pinned Maven.
Chris Benoit def. Gene Snitsky
Snitsky came out and said something I couldn't hear but it was something about Benoit being on Smackdown! now but he called him out anyway. Benoit came out and finished off Snitsky in short time. Snitsky broke from the cross face once but they Benoit got it on a second time and Snitsky tapped out. Afterwards, Benoit got on the mic and called Snitsky a coward and started a 'You Tapped Out' chant.
Edge w/Lita def. Kane
Edge got on the mic and said Kane was a shell of his former self. He also said he was going to spear Kane and then his wife back at the hotel afterwards. Kane dominated for the most part. Lita tried interfering with a chair but Kane grabbed her and choked her until Edge intervened. Match ended with the referee distracted and Edge hitting Kane with the money in the bank briefcase. Edge and Lita scampered off as Kane rose from the mat post match.
Maria interview segment
Pointless segment with Coach calling out diva Maria for the obligatory T&A. Coach dissed her mic skills and she called out Robert Conway who yapped about how good he looked in person. Big Viscera's music hit and he squashed Conway and danced with Maria to lead into intermission.
Intermission (Coach hawking WWE merchandise) He also announced that since he was in charge the WWE Title match would be a Street Fight to a big pop. He called the crowd red hot.
Masterpiece Chris Masters def. Sgt. Slaughter
Back from intermission, Masters called out anyone from the back to break the masterlock. Slaughter obliged much to the surprise and joy of the Portland crowd. Good pop for him. Slaughter slapped on the cobra clutch once but couldn't get Masters to tap. Slaughter almost broke the masterlock but eventually 'passed out'. Crowd applauded Slaughter post match for his effort.
Shawn Michaels w/Roddy Piper def. Muhammad Hassan w/Daivari
The local celeb Hot Rod Roddy Piper came out to the best pop of the night. He played up to the crowd and said he was the only Oregonian to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. He said he was proud to be a local. Hassan's music hit interrupting Piper. Hassan and Daivari scolded Piper for a moment before HBK's music hit. He and Piper attacked Hassan and Daivari then Piper and Daivari battled to the back. Match ended with Daivari running in and interfering then Piper came out and snatched Daivari. Hassan then got the sweet chin music and was pinned.
World Title - Street Fight
Batista def. Triple H
Good heat for Triple H. No Flair, damn. Back and forth match, didn't really make use of the Street Fight stip. Triple H and Batista battled into the crowd who eat it up. HHH clocked two referees and had Batista pinned once. HHH was about to hit the pedgiree but Batista countered with a spinebuster and got the pin. Standard Batista-HHH match.
