Welcome aboard one and all. I didn't post a recap on Summer Bash because I didn't enjoy it and had to leave early to get the last train and sadly missed the beer bash at the end. With exception to the first and last match and Melina it was a poor event in my opinion. Don't forget to vote on the Shaun Selector during the week. Here and now though it's time for Velocity which kicks off this weekend with...........................................................
Booker T w/Sharmell vs Billy Kidman
Steve and Josh speculate on how healthy Kidman is who has his quad heavily strapped. Kidman ducks his head outside to start. Booker backs Kidman to the corner and smiles before patting Kidman's chest and backing up. Kidman boots Booker, side headlock, Kidman off the ropes, stepover, Booker leaps over and scores with a hiptoss and armdrag into an armbar. Booker winds up the arm, both men exchange reversals before Booker boots Kidman and applies a fujiwara armbar but Kidman blocks Booker from completely applying it and gets a foot on the bottom rope to break. A Booker T chant breaks out. Kidman elbows out of a Booker hammerlock. Kidman with forearms to the head, Booker reverses off the ropes, Kidman dodges a side kick and connects with a dropkick to floor Booker. Sharmell looks concerned as Kidman gets a nearfall then boots Booker in the head. Kidman chokes Booker with his knee in the ropes before mocking Booker's 5X hand gesture. Kidman boot, snapmare, rear naked choke. Booker gets up and tries to elbow free but Kidman throws him down by the hair and keeps the hold applied. Booker tries to escape again but Kidman throws him back down. Kidman punch, kick, chokes Booker's throat across the top rope. Booker whipped off the ropes comes back with a flying forearm. Booker with a clothesline, boot to the gut and suplex. Kidman off the ropes into a side kick. Booker's feeling it and he treats us to a Spinaroonie. Booker measures Kidman, boot to the gut, Booker off the ropes, Kidman dodges an Axe kick, boots Booker grabs him and goes for a bulldog. Booker thwarts Kidman, Kidman charges into another boot and this time Booker connects with an Axe kick. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: BOOKER T.

Muhammad Hassan w/Daivari draft to SmackDown! and proclaim the usual unfair treatment. Teddy Long announces a Six man elimination match for SmackDown! this week to crown the first SmackDown! champion. JBL vs Undertaker vs Booker T vs Chris Benoit vs Big Show vs Muhammad Hassan. Hassan and Daivari get thrown from the ring to end the segment.

WWE Slam of the Week: The Mexicools debut on SmackDown! last week and announce things are going to change after beating up Paul London and Chavo Guerrero.
Rene Dupree vs Patrick Leizer
Dupree has a new darker look complete with tache and sideburns. Josh says he looks evil because he looks like a Frenchman. USA chant greets Dupree to piss him off. Dupree grabs a mic and spouts some French about the creme de la creme that's arrived. Crowd cut off Dupree with you suck before he finishes in English saying he doesn't suck and he's the French Phenom baby. Bell goes, Dupree with a side headlock and shoulder tackle. Dupree then repeats this. Dupree off the ropes steps over Leizer, Leizer surprises with a hiptoss and attempts an armwringer. Dupree cuts him off with knees to the gut and punches and boots to the back. USA USA again and Dupree looks like he's boiling over. Dupree stays on Leizer by driving his head into the corner and wedging Leizer's head in the bottom rope with his knee. Dupree kicks Leizer. Leizer gets up in the corner. Dupree with chops and an Irish whip. Dupree chop, snapmare and a boot to the back. Dupree poses to boos. Fistdrop by Dupree, two count. Dupree with a rear naked choke, USA USA chant again. Leizer elbows out, Leizer runs the ropes, Dupree catches with a spinebuster. French Tickler by Dupree as he stalks Leizer from behind. Leizer gets to his feet, Dupree locks in a Cobra Clutch and Leizer taps out. Here is Your Winner: RENE DUPREE. Post match Josh hypes up Dupree's new look and move which tapped out Mark Jindrak last week and now Patrick Leizer before summing up that Dupree is on a roll.

Steve shills for John Cena and Vengeance but gets cut off by a Commercial break.
Chris Benoit vs Steve Greyeyes
Crippler in the house. Benoit looks focused as usual. I've probably spelled the jobber's name wrong for anyone that cares but it never got shown on screen. I'll just call him Steve. Anyways on with the match. Lockup, both jostle before Steve takes Benoit to the corner and chops him. Benoit chops back and chops Steve down. Benoit with a boot whips Steve off the ropes and shoves him down. Benoit with another boot, snap suplex. Benoit chops and drives Steve's head into the corner. Benoit chop, punch, kneelifts make their mark. Steve gets in some offense by raking the face of Benoit in the corner. Steve clubs Benoit's back, chop, scoop slam. Steve misses an elbow off the ropes and Benoit drives knees into the chest of Steve. Steve cuts off a whip to the ropes, reels in Benoit, Benoit ducks locks the hands and executes three german suplexes. Benoit locks in the Crippler Crossface and Steve immediately taps. Benoit makes short work of this jobber. Here is Your Winner: CHRIS BENOIT. Post match Steve (Romero) and Josh talk up Benoit and his chances in the SmackDown! title match this upcoming week. Benoit salutes the fans on his way to the back.

WWE Rewind: SmackDown! last week The Undertaker surprises Randy Orton and sends a chilling message with a lightning bolt that just misses Orton. Shame.
Rey Mysterio pins Eddie Guerrero on SmackDown! in their supposed Final Chapter. The jinx carries on for Eddie. I think they'll have one more match at Great American Bash.

Orlando Jordan vs Nunzio (Non-Title)
Nunzio spars with the top turnbuckle to prepare. Lockup, Orlando shoves Nunzio down. Lockup, Nunzio tries a go-behind, Orlando counters into a hammerlock, double leg takedown by Orlando. Orlando tries to stretch Nunzio or get a firm grip but Nunzio gets to the ropes. Nunzio gets in Orlando's face, Orlando shoves him down, Nuznio gets up and slaps him then runs outside. Orlando gives chase, Nunzio rolls back in as does Orlando, Orlando blocks a drop toehold attempt but misses an elbow drop. Nunzio dropkicks Orlando in the face. Nunzio with an armdrag and hiptoss and Orlando ducks outside for a breather. Nunzio steps onto the apron and leaps off but Orlando catches him and deposits him with a throwaway slam on the floor. Orlando poses ala Cabinet horns. Back inside Orlando kicks then chokes Nunzio by pulling back on Nunzio's neck in the ropes whilst beating away at his chest. Orlando whips Nunzio off the ropes into a bearhug as a small ECW chant can be heard. Orlando puts Nunzio down, fingersprays OJ in the air then goes back to Nunzio who reaches up from the canvas and pulls at Orlando's hair. Nunzio dodges a fistdrop and schoolboys Orlando for two. Orlando executes a backbreaker to kill Nunzio's momentum and goes back to the bearhug. Nunzio escapes after clapping Orlando in the head. Orlando boots Nunzio's gut, Nunzio off the ropes, Nunzio ducks and comes back with a tilt-a-whirl headscissors. Nunzio with a dropkick to the face, two count. Nunzio punches Orlando's head in on the canvas before driving it into the corner and then the opposite one. Orlando reverses an Irish whip, Nunzio with a high knee to the face of a charging Orlando. Nunzio connects with the Sicilian Slice from the second rope. 1-2-no. Nunzio attempts a sunset flip, Orlando pulls Nunzio up, knee to the gut, Flatliner. 1-2-3. Oh poo Orlando wins again and oh my god Steve just called that the greatest move ever. Shut your hole. Here is Your Winner: ORLANDO JORDAN.
