There was a huge sigh of relief yesterday amongst everyone in WWE after they learned that there were no more releases planned. The hope is that management is finished with cost cutting, although there is still a lot of nervousness among the mid-card performers especially. The talk among a lot of wrestlers yesterday as well was shock towards WWE.com running interviews with those who were released, feeling it was like pouring salt into the wound.

There is an article in today’s edition of the St. Paul Pioneer Press regarding Brock Lesnar’s meeting with Vince McMahon which took place yesterday. However, they noted the meeting as one set up to resolve their problems with Lesnar's non-compete agreement. The article noted that Lesnar has an offer to work in Japan but could return to WWE based on the meetings as well. It also claimed that Lesnar is also "in talks" with the Real Pro Wrestling league and a World's Strongest Man competition.

WWE.com has exclusive footage of John Bradshaw Layfield leaving the ring all bloody after his match with the Blue Meanie from Smackdown as well as a backstage vignette featuring the debut of Candice Michelle which also features Melina cutting a promo on Torrie Wilson.
