The show opens with Y2J’s music and he enters wearing
jeans, a tank, a cap and sunglasses. Not his normal
bling-bling-blinged out outfit, nor wrestling gear.
He takes a Mic. and talks about how he and Bischoff
have planned to take down Cena. How their plan is
going so well. They proved how bad Cena is both in
and out of the ring. He goes on to talk about how bad
of a singer Cena is. And how later in the ring
Carlito kicked Cena’s ass. A lot of it had to do with
the unbiased officiating that Y2J did last week. They
showed clips from last weeks Cena vs Carlito match.
Jericho continues to toot his own horn.
Jericho says no matter what happens in the match
between Cena and Carlito later in the night that
Jericho will be walking out of SummerSlam the WWE
champion. He then tells Cena he’s going to beat HIM
at SummerSlam. A little slip as to what will happen
later in the match against Carlito.
Cena runs to the ring and attacks Jericho. Bischoff
immediately has security and refs break up the fight.
Bisch tells Cena he’s going to make sure Cena’s going
to loose later. Bisch announces that he’s going to
make sure it happens by assigning a guest referee for
the match - Jericho.
Y2J stands at the top of the ramp screaming at Cena
as officials hold Cena back in the ring area.
JR, King and Coach announce that Vinnie-Mac will be
on the show later with a big announcement.

Returning to show was a recap of the Chris Masters
match that Big Show showed up at. Then Masters music
hits and his super-ego entrance. His tag-team partner
Snitsky comes to the ring (his chin-tenna are pointing
in funny directions). The Shelton comes to the ring
talking smack to the pair. And of course (because of
last week) his partner is the Big Show.
Shelton backed up and ran to the ring. Show gave him
a boost over the ropes, into the ring. Shelton almost
trips over the top rope, but recovers well. The faces
start off in control. Shelton tags show who comes in
and starts beating Snitsky, hard. Some of the shots
from both faces are quite stiff. Snitsky is getting
tossed like a ragdoll. Show shushes the crowd to
smack Snitsky’s chest. Show tosses Snitsky from the
ring. Masters enters the ring illegally and gets
tossed out of the ring onto Snitsky for his troubles.
- Commercial (hate it when they break up a match that
way!)
When the show returns the faces are still in control.
Shelton goes to splash Snitsky in the corner and gets
a boot to the face. Masters taps in. Masters takes
advantage to a tired Shelton. Masters gets Shelton in
a long Bearhug. Masters almost gets a three, but not
quite. Snitsky tags in and starts stomping him, not
much technique. After a few slams and a near three
Snitsky gets him in a modified Cobra Clutch. After
Shelton finally beaks the hold the heels double team
him until Show can’t take it anymore and he comes in
illegally. Show slams the other two men around until
he feels Shelton can hold his own again and leaves the
ring. It didn’t much work as Masters keeps beating on
Shelton who really needs to make a tag. Masters nails
a hard Clothes Line (guess getting back at the faces
for earlier stiff shots.)
Shelton finally reverses a move and is able to tag
Show. Show comes in and tosses Snitsky around again.
They try to double team Show to no avail. After
removing Masters from the equation Show Choke Slams
Snitsky for the three.
Show has to scrape Shelton off the mat to raise his
hand for the win, but they walk up the ramp as if
they’d barley fought a match.
- Winners: Shelton and Show
A quick recap of last week’s Angle invitational where
Eugene won Angle’s metals.
- Commercial
Eugene’s music hits and he comes out with Christy.
He picks her up in a cheering pose which matches the
rah-rah outfit she’s wearing. She announcing him as
the man who outlasted Angle.
Eugene asks Christy if he can play with her pom-poms!
She tells him he has a match tonight. She starts to
announce the hometown hero and Angle’s music plays.
Eugene asks Angle, “What’s your name and where your
from?” When Angle tries to get out of it Eugene keeps
asking the same question until he answers. Eugene
says that they are in Mohecan Sun, so Angle can’t
wrestle him. Angle says they’re on an Indian
Reservation, who’s going to show up? Tonto?
Tatanka comes out for a surprise appearance! He’s a
little heavy, but in quite good shape. He’s showing
quite good form for not being in the ring for quite a
while. Tatanka takes control of Eugene and shows no
sign of ring rust. Every time Tatanka runs a move
Eugene copies it. It’s like he’s wrestling a mirror.
At about one minute left Tatanka goes up and comes
down with a Tomahawk Chop. But Eugene starts Angle’s
Ankle lock. Angle interferes for the DQ. Eugene and
Tatanka team up to beat up Kurt Angle. They toss
Angle from the ring and Christy enters to put the gold
metal back around Eugene’s neck and celebrate with him
and Tatanka.
- Winner: Via DQ Eugene
Replay of HBK’s Sweet Chin Music on Hogan. Then
Hogan’s bit on Larry King Live where Hogan talks about
HBK looking for that “top tier” that HBK’s never
achieved.
- Commercial
Angle outback slamming things around. Grisham asks
Angle what he thinks about what happened in the ring
with Eugene’s gold metal. Angle says it’s not
Eugene’s metal, it’s his. That next week in
Pittsburgh Angle’s going to take back his metal and
break Eugene’s ankle.
A recap of the end of the Kane and Edge stretcher
match. They showed the Tombstone on LIta and how Kane
stole the ambulance with Lita in the back. The said
that Kane was arrested for stealing the ambulance and
assaulting officials.
Jericho in Bischoff’s office having a fit. Carlito
walks in to talk to him about the match later on and
how Carlito is going to win later this evening.
Bischoff comes in to talk to them for a moment to make
sure they’re all on the same page.
A limo pulls up outback and Vinnie-Mac climbs out.
- Commercial
Vinnie-Mac’s music is playing and he comes to the
ring with his usual swagger. Tonight is the 636
edition of RAW. It’s a record. RAW has surpassed all
other shows from the USA. Vinnie-Mac wants to thank
one person - Vincent Kennedy MacMahon. “It’s alright
to thank yourself now and then.” He says he doesn’t
let his ego get in the way of making good business
decisions. Why else would he bring back Superstars
who has stabbed him in the back? Good business. Bing
back Bischoff? Good business. ECW? Good business.
So, he’s going to make another decision tonight.
Someone who no longer works for the company is coming
back. Someone who has been lighting fires all over
the place. And a Vinnie-Mac thing to do is pour
gasoline on it. He announces that this person now has
a contract and will have a match with Edge at
SummerSlam. Finally he announces Matt Hardy’s return.
After his music plays a bit Matt comes to the ring to
huge pop. Vinnie leaves the ring.
He thinks he should thank Vince for bringing him back
to RAW, but it’s the people who brought him back to
Raw. He does thank us all. He wants to catch
everyone up on the story. He talks about his 6 year
relationship with Amy Dumas. How while he was out
with an injury Amy had an affair with Adam Copeland.
When the story broke his life crumbled. He loved
hearing Madison Square Garden chant “WE want Matt” and
“You screwed Matt”. It felt wonderful, but now Matt’s
back. “Edge, you ruined my dream of having a family.
You almost ruined my career. And now your mad because
your personal life is miserable. If you live through
this you will hope you were dead. The only thing that
would make him feel better than killing Adam himself
would be is if he was killed in a car accident before
Matt had a chance to do it. SummerSlam will be kill
or be killed.” Matt was on a quite a roll. The crowd
loved him and was so happy he finally “officially”
returned to take care of Edge and Lita. Though he
said nothing about Lita other than she had an affair.
All the venom was aimed toward Edge.
- Commercial
Backstage showed Vinnie talking to Chavo, um, I mean
Kerwin White. Vinnie was not impressed and brushed
him off, but Chavo seemed to be having fun. Oh, I
mean Kerwin.
Val Venus’ music plays and he comes to the ring in
his towel. He (finally) gives it to a woman in the
front row.
Then Rob Conway’s new music hits. He’s wearing a
black studded hat, sunglasses and new trunks that are
sheer on the side. (If you saw Heat this week you
know the change in Conway I’m talking about.) Wow, he
looks like one of the Village people! He will
definitely appeal to the leather and S&M demographic.
He starts wrestling Val while still wearing his
sunglasses. When they gets knocked off during a move
he gets all upset. Rob takes control of the match,
and shows much ego. He keeps cornering Val in the
corners and giving him hard Chops. Rob executes a
beautiful Back Body Drop. The men end up on the
outside and Rob keeps nailing Val’s back on the
barrier and the side of the ring.
Rob gets a reverse Chinlock on Val and then a
Powerbomb that left a lot to be desired. They are
both off their marks in this match. Val gets a Figure
Four, but Rob gets to the ropes. Val goes up top for
the money shot, but Rob attacks him and knocks him off
and nails “The Ego Trip” for the three.
- Winner: Rob Conway
- Commercial
When the show returns a fake Larry King announces a
fake Hogan in an HBK spoof. HBK comes out with a
walker. Every other word out of his mouth is
‘brother’. Fake Larry keeps calling him Hulkie. HBK
keeps referring to Hogan being well over 100 years
old. Fake Larry asks about HBK and they got to an HBK
video montage. It starts in his early ears and hits
all of his major career highlights. Lots of Sweet
Chin Music, pins, and then to last weeks speech and
the Sweet Chin Music he nailed Hogan with. Good, but
the typical WWE montage.
Then they return back to the Larry King spoof. He
talks about how wonderful HBK is and how hard he works
in the ring. How Hogan doesn’t care what he does in
the ring because the people have already paid their
money to buy the seats. He calls Fake Larry Mean
Gene, then stands up and knocks off his wig. He
poses, has a cramp, then rips off his skullcap and
looks at the camera as HBK. “Hogan. You’ve got your
reality show ‘Hogan Knows Best’. What you gonna do
when reality goes wild on you?” He then “kicks” the
camera.
Outback shows the Diva hopefuls heading for the ring.
What are they going to do to humiliate themselves
this week?
- Commercial
The Diva hopefuls are on stage dancing and Coach is
going to announce the eliminated Diva. Summer is
eliminated, but what an outfit she was wearing!
In the ring are two platforms and double ended
boffers. The whole ring is padded like a bouncy room.
There is a special guest referee for the competition.
They show clips from his latest movie and announce
Rob Schneider. He gets very little pop from what I
could hear. He has troubles getting in the ring.
Coach talks to him briefly. Rob tells the ladies,
“You can do it.” “And please, do not get distracted
by his boner.”
Leyla and Ashley are first - they tie, very quickly.
Then they tie again quickly. Finally Ashley wins, but
neither were very good. Rob keeps cracking jokes.
Elisabeth beats Kristal, quickly. Kristal slams
Elisabeth to the mat. The Rob comes over and gets
slammed. The final match is between Ashley and
Elisabeth. Elisabeth wins.
Coach propositions Elisabeth, but she blows him off.
Rob grabs her and they walk up the ramp together.
- Eliminated: Summer
- Winner: Elisabeth
Recap of the Bischoff and Cena dispute. Bits
including Carlito, Battle of The Bands, Y2J, and
everything else that’s happened the past couple weeks
setting up for tonight’s title match. The
Championship match is up next.
- Commercial
The show returns to show Bischoff at ringside.
Carlito’s music plays and he enters the ring. Y2J is
already in the ring. Cena’s music hits to big crowd
pop.
Carlito chokes Cena out with a tee shirt and tries to
get a quick three count. Jericho is right on top of
the action. Cena takes control, but Carlito and
Jericho double team him. They throw him into the ring
post and Cena lands on the outside.
- Commercial
Next week will have HBK and Hogan face to face, so
says JR.
Carlito has Cena in an Armbar hold. Cena fights
back, but telegraphs his next move and gets a kick to
the chest for his troubles. Carlito goes for a three
count and Jericho taps fast, but Cena kicks out,
twice. Cena countered a Suplex for one of his own,
but Jericho gets in his licks and kicks on Cena every
chance he can. Jericho keeps talking smack to Cena.
Cena nails Carlito with a high knee then goes after
Jericho. Carlito jumps him from behind. Carlito
keeps control as Cena fights to retain his title
against Carlito, Y2J and Bisch. Cena fights back with
a Back Body Drop. But Carlito keeps regaining control
because of Jericho’s help.
Jericho instructs Carlito to throw Cena from the
ring. They pull the padding from the barrier and
bounce Cena’s head off it. Jericho continues to
dictate the match to Carlito. The both beat him down
a little and throw him back in the ring.
Cena takes control and lands the 5 Knuckle Shuffle.
Cena goes for the cover, but Jericho won’t count.
Cena goes after Jericho, but Carlito attacks from
behind. In the midst of it all Carlito nails Jericho.
Jericho then gets thrown into Bischoff which knocks
them both to the floor.
Cena FU’s Carlito and another ref comes in and gives
Cena the three count.
After the bell Jericho nails Cena with a crotch shot
from behind, then gets him with the Lionsault. The go
to the outside and Cena gets Suplexed on the floor.
Jericho grabs a camera and hits Cena over the head
with it. The camera shot knocks the power supply from
the camera and busts Cena wide open.
Jericho takes Cena back in the ring and puts him in
The Walls Of Jericho. Cena’s head is hanging out of
the ring and Bisch comes over and slaps Cena hard
across the face a couple times.
Jericho leaves the ring and takes Cena’s WWE
Championship Belt. He walks over to Bischoff and they
walk backward up the ramp together as Jericho drools
over the belt and Bischoff yells at a bleeding Cena.
