Greetings and welcome to another edition of Velocity. The WWE weekend action begins with a Cruiserweight title match pitting..................
Paul London vs Nunzio w/Vito
Third time lucky perhaps for Nunzio who has come out with his big backup that's debuting. Josh doesn't know who Vito is at first but then remembers and lists his accolades in WCW/ECW. London charges down and slides in under a leaping Nunzio and delivers two armdrags and a shoulder tackle. London rolls up Nunzio for two, Nunzio knees the gut, London loses the belt around the waist, Nunzio goes for a slam, London slips behind but Nunzio counters a rollup attempt off the ropes and hangs onto them. Nunzio charges into a headscissors takedown and goes to the corner. London hits a flying forearm then puts Nunzio down. London connects with the Mushroom Stomp complete with Josh's sounds. London covers for two. Nunzio reverses an Irish whip, London goes to float over but Nunzio puts him on the apron and forearms off. London gets back on the apron and Nunzio dropkicks him off. Nunzio realizing a countout is no good puts London back in. Nunzio gets a nearfall then beats on the head of London and throws it into the canvas. Nunzio exposes his knee and drops it onto London then kicks London in the head. Nunzio with a suplex, two count. Nunzio with a rear naked choke, London punches free, Nunzio punches back and knees the gut. London whipped off the ropes telegraphs a Nunzio dropkick and works an Oklahoma roll for two. Nunzio ducks a charge hooks the hair and drops London with a neckbreaker for another nearfall. Nunzio drives a leg into London's back then traps him in a chinlock. London tries to punch free, Nunzio with a knee whips London off the ropes, Nunzio goes for a backbodydrop but London lands on his feet. Nunzio charges and goes for a tilt-a-whirl headscissors but London counters into a faceplant. London recovers in the corner and dodges a Nunzio charge. London with a back kick and a series of forearms to Nunzio, Nunzio shoves London away. London comes back and hits a dropsault in the corner to Nunzio. Nunzio staggers into a London belly-to-back overthrow. London covers for a two then gets Nunzio up and forearms him. London with an Irish whip, London charges and Nunzio backdrops him onto the apron. Nunzio goes to suplex London back in, London lands on his feet. Nunzio cuts off a whip to the ropes but London kicks him then quickly swings round and hits a heel kick to drop Nunzio. London with another nearfall then yells at the referee. London hoists up Nunzio setting him up for a powerbomb, Nunzio delivers some punches and counters into a modified Sicilian Slice for two. Now it's Nunzio's turn to get frustrated. Nuznio Irish whips London who hits the corner face first. London rebounds, Nunzio runs the ropes but London delivers a crescent kick to the face. London drags Nunzio into position and looks to go high risk but wait Vito who hasn't moved all match pulls a foreign object out from his sock and Vito leaps onto the apron as London goes upstairs. The referee cuts off Vito as London gets down and faces Vito but Vito slips the item to Nunzio without anyone seeing. Nunzio clocks London in the head with the object behind the referee's back and Vito gets down allowing the referee to turn back round and register the three count. 1-2-3. New Champion. Here is Your Winner & New Cruiserweight Champion of the World: NUNZIO. Post match Vito takes the object from Nunzio and puts it back down his sock before getting in and presenting Nunzio with his title as we check the replay. Vito kisses Nunzio as he gets his arms raised then Vito holds the ropes open for Nunzio as the new FBI take their leave. We're inforemed that later it's Orlando Jordan vs Hardcore Holly for the US title and Steve sends it backstage to an earlier interview Josh conducted with Hardcore Holly.
Josh asks for Holly's thoughts ahead of tonight's main event championship match. Holly says OJ cheated to win the last two times they've faced. This is his third opportunity and he will not be cheated. Tonight OJ's going up and down with the Alabama Slam and Holly concludes saying he will be US champion before walking off.

Paul London Promo
Paul London's music plays again and he charges down to ringside again minus the Cruiserweight Title to get some mic time and something off his chest. London looks puzzled and remarks something's different...missing? London remembers he used to run down with the Cruiserweight Title around his waist. London realizes it's gone and says it was stolen from him by two criminals Nunzio and Vito. A couple of thieves. This is the worst night of his life. This is the worst night of our lives (aimed at us and the crowd which generates a mixed response). London says we were screwed and says it's not fair three times before revealing we're going to protest. London asks the crowd if they would let a thief burgle their house and let him get away with that... absolutely not. London says he and the crowd are going to organise a march to WWE HQ and are going to strike hard and first and show no mercy because our rights were infringed and we're going to do everything we can to get his...our Cruiserweight championship back. London asks who's with him? Cue cheers. London gets out and motions the fans to come with him as he makes his way to the back. London came off a little heelish there and hinted at a possible future turn.

Simon Dean vs Mo Sexton
Simon with some mic work to begin. Sexton was on TV not too long ago against Rob Conway on Heat. Simon has an offer for Sexton and offers him two choices. Take the Simon System Bar and maybe it will help him in his match but he doubts it or Simon can beat the fat off him and force feed it to him. Sexton swats the bar away but Simon kicks and clubs Sexton's back. Sexton off the ropes ducks underneath and punches Simon into the corner. Sexton mounts Simon who delivers an inverted atomic drop then puts Sexton down. Simon punishes Sexton's back, snapmare, Sexton tries to escape but Simon puts him down and stomps and kicks the head/gut. Sexton tries to crawl away but Simon forearms him and traps him in a wristlock on the canvas while swatting at his face with boots. Simon punches but Sexton punches back, Simon reverses off the ropes and hoists Sexton up before bringing him down across his knee. Simon with a nearfall swats Sexton away before choking him in the corner. Simon charges into an elbow to the gut. Sexton with another elbow tries again but Simon blocks and goes to hook a backslide until he changes his mind turns, traps Sexton's leg and punishes Sexton with a standing chinlock. Sexton punches free, Simon attempts a headlock but Sexton counters into a back suplex. Sexton with punches, Simon reverses off the ropes, Sexton comes back with a dropkick, nearfall. Sexton with stomps and punches to Simon in the corner. Sexton attempts a running bulldog but Simon counters with a clothesline in mid air. Simon checks his watch/pulse picks up Sexton and delivers the Simonizer. 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner: SIMON DEAN. Post match Simon force feeds Sexton the Simon System Bar.

WWE Slam of the Week: SmackDown! last week Eddie Guerrero vows to complete Chapter 2 of his story by show's end. Christian then attacks Rey Mysterio from behind.
Rey Mysterio defeats Christian on SmackDown! Eddie reads Chapter 2 delivering Custody papers to Mysterio. Chapter 3 is next week.

Earlier today Steve Romero conducted an inteview with US Champion Orlando Jordan. Steve reminds Jordan he faces Hardcore Holly with the US Title on the line then says Hardcore Holly is one of the toughest Superstars on the roster and asks Jordan if he's worried. Jordan asks who he is. Steve says the US Champion. Jordan says he's smooth as silk as sweet as sugar brother all's fair in love and war. Six weeks ago he beat Hardcore Holly and tonight he's going to beat him again. For 5 months he's been US champion and tonight he's going to leave as US champion. OJ signs off telling Romeo ain't nobody going to take what's his. We cut back to the arena for.....
Orlando Jordan vs Hardcore Holly
Both lockup to begin, Orlando grabs an arm, Holly reverses into a hammerlock and takes Orlando down before rolling through a reversal attempt. Holly stays on the arm, Orlando boots the gut, Holly off the ropes, ducks Orlando, boot by Holly and Holly goes back to working the arm in the way of an armdrag into an armbar. Holly with an armwringer, Orlando forearms free, Holly back on the arm rolls through again into a hammerlock on the canvas. Holly takes Orlando to the corner, the referee separates and Orlando delivers a cheapshot. Holly comes back with a series of stinging chops, whips Orlando off the ropes and chops him down. Orlando on the apron hangs up Holly on the top rope then gets back in. Orlando with a snapmare, drops a series of elbows and repeatedly chokes Holly on the mat. Orlando with a swinging neckbreaker for two, now applies a rear naked choke. Holly tugs the hair gets up, then punches free. Holly off the ropes ducks Orlando then clotheslines him down. Both men are down. Both get up and exchange punches, Holly sends Orlando off the ropes and takes him down. Holly backelbows Orlando before bouncing him off the ropes into a backbodydrop. Orlando reverses off the ropes, Holly ducks and hits a half nelson slam for two. Holly takes Orlando to the corner and unleashes chops. Holly with an Irish whip charges in and hits a clothesline. Holly Irish whips and charges again but Orlando pulls the referee in the way and he calls for the bell as Holly looks on confused. Tony Chimel announces Holly as the victor via DQ so Holly delivers the Alabama Slam to Orlando as a consolation. Here is Your Winner via DQ: HARDCORE HOLLY. Unfortunately OJ has kept his belt. I'm begging for someone, anyone to take it from him.
Steve signs off to end the show. Who else is hating SmackDown! at the moment. My take is with its Hollywood writers who know nothing, Randy Orton cutting the same boring promo every week, JBL main eventing, showing contract signings all the time, the misuse of Chris Benoit & Christian, the lame LOD reincarnation, the fucking hopeless Boogeyman that's coming in, the stupid Jillian Hall character and now the further watering down of Cruiserweights it's getting really hard to tune in and be forced to swallow this shit. Kudos to Court Bauer though who's produced some excellent Velocity shows over the past few weeks. Keep it here for Sunday Night Heat. Shaun.
