In what must have been a Dark match, Damaja, the wrestler formerly known as Danny Basham, beat Chris Cage.
Heat
- Val Venus beat Johnny Swinger with the Money Shot.
- Tyson Tomko knocked out a "local" guy in about a minute, if that.
- Kerwin White drove down the ramp and the ring in his new Golf Cart (with KW on the hood) as his new entrance video played. He then cut a promo in the ring. When a CHAVO chant started his reply was that "Chavo isn't around anymore. He's probably in Mexico look for Tacos."
- In the last Match, Rene Dupree pinned Matt Striker.
During RAW
- There were lots of "Here we go Steelers, Here We Go" chants through the night.
- Kurt Angle received major pops and there was even a "Eugene Sucks" chant going through the arena.
- There were many "Fozzy Sucks" chants and also a*****e chants directed towards Chris Jericho.
- During the segment with Hogan, HBK received "You Screwed Bret Chants."
Post-RAW
- The Post Raw match was the six man. Batista, John Cena & Hulk Hogan beating JBL, Kurt Angle, & Shawn Michaels.
It was a good match with some comedy thrown in. When Shawn entered the ring he and Kurt had a brief stare down before both of them started to laugh and hugged. Another bit was when Kurt ran away from Batista on his knees to his corner. He wrapped both of his arms around JBL and had his face buried in his crotch with JBL looking around not knowing what to do. In the meantime Shawn went to the neutral corner not wanting anything to do with it. Cena did the majority of the work for his team, followed by Batista. Hulk came in for the last couple minutes and, with everyone else fighting on the outside, gave JBL the big boot and the Legdrop O' Death for the pin fall. The heels then left up the ramp. Angle was first followed by Shawn & JBL as the faces celebrated posing and shaking hands with the fans for about 10 minutes. Eventually Batista made his way up the ramp followed by Hogan and finally Cena.

and I was at WWE Raw - Live From Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, On August 8th 2005.
Your reporter got all of Raw,
but since they were watching from television,
They did not see the ultimate dark match...
It was an interpromotional match, which means they brought two superstars from
Smackdown.
It was a 6 man tag match (originally billed as 4),
But it was the feuding Legend Hulk Hogan and Icon Shawn Michaels,
The combative hometown hero Kurt Angle and the racous John Cena,
And the Smackdown superstars - JBL AND BATISTA!
Yes, all the fans in Pittsburgh were able to experience the energy that is Batista
wrestling,
Even though it was a Raw event.
The match began shortly after 11:10,
With JBL and Batista beginning in the ring.
After a few grapples, Kurt is tagged in.
Batista throws him across the ring and Angle ends up in the crotch of JBL,
It looked quite obscene from behind, so the arena erupted in laughter.
Michaels started to get into the ring to come to Angle's aid,
But then slid back through the ropes once Batista got a glare at him.
Cena was then tagged in and run everyone down.
JBL started to put Cena in chokeholds and whatnot.
Cena then gets a loose tag to Hulk Hogan,
And Pittsburgh erupts in screams (Hogan got the biggest pops all night, with Batista
very shortly behind).
With the rest out on the apron,
Cena tags JBL in,
and it's JBL and Hulk.
Cena takes down Michaels on the outside,
With Batista in Angles face.
In the ring, about 15 minutes after the match begins,
Hulk gets the 3.
Batista, Hulk, and Cena win!!
The cheers were defeaning.
The photo session that followed the match lasted nearly 10 minutes long,
Poses in the ring were many.
But yes, it was an all-star match and I was so glad that the people of Pittsburgh
got to see Kurt Angle lose to 3 amazing wrestlers.
