Show started out with the return of the great Howard Finkel. He got the crowd all
ready for the show and announced the first matchup.
1st Match:
Scotty 2 Hotty & Funiki v.s William Regal & Random Jobber Boy
Scotty wasted his time in the ring pranceing around like he was high of cocaine. So
about 10 minutes into the match and nobody touched each other. Finally Scotty just
decided to tag Funiki and get the show on the road. All in all it was Regal and
Funiki in the ring running internationals and arm drags and hip tosses. The jobber
guy was going over a bit but not enough to make him look good. The matched ended
with a small package that Regal rolled up Scotty and Funiki pushed over the package
so that Regals shoulders were pinned to the mat and got the 1-2-3. about 20 minutes
Winners: Scotty 2 Hotty & Funiki
2nd Match:
Sylivan Granner v.s Hardcore Holly
Holly went over well with the crowd. Sylvain got little offense probably due to the
fact that Holly HATES rookies but oh well. Not much to say bout this match. basicly
a 5 minutes squash match
Winner: Hardcore Holly
3rd Match:
Simon Dean v.s Juvitued
Oddly enough, Juvi was runnin the face gimmick...huh? Anyway the crowd loved it,
especially after Dean verbally abused the crowd whiched ended after Juvi forearmed
him in the mouth. Desent match, especailly for Smackdown. That could be a warmup
match if they decide to countinue to fued with the bWo. Juvi pulled of a lot of
spingboard moves like drop kick and cross bodys. Juvi was the winner after a school
boy after about, I wanna say 10 minutes.
Winner: Juvitued
4th match:
Heidenriech v.s Big Stevie Cool
And also oddly enough, Stevie was runnin a heel gimmick. What? I guess they thought
that we couldn't tell the difference. Anyway, Heidenriech went over well with the
crowd. Stevie got a little more offense than Heidenriech but we all knew Heidenriech
would end up with the win. He started to "Hulk up" and hit Stevie with the 1-2 punch
combo. And finally whiped him off the ropes and did his finisher the scrapbuster and
got the win.
Winner: Heidenriech
5th Match:
MNM v.s Pycosis & Super Crazy
I was shocked how well Johnny Nitro could work the crowd. It was a really good
match. Joey Mercury pulled off some moves I haven't ever seen. Super Crazy and
Pycosis were runnin the face gimmick as well. Super Crazy and Pycosis of course were
flying around the ring as on would of thought. The Mexicools took the victory after
Super Crazy delivered a Frankinsteiner and Pysocis followed up with a top rope leg
drop and took the pinfall
Winners: The Mexicools
Intermission
Howard Finkel annouced there would be 2 title defenses and the main event was
Undertaker v.s Eddie Guerrero
6th match:
Paul London v.s Nunzio w/ Vito for the Cruiserweight Title
It wasn't there best but I didn't expect there best at a house show. Vito was
constantly helping Nunzio with the ref's back turned. London mantained offence
thoughout the match. London was getting ready for the 450 and Vito pulled Nunzio out
of the ring to avoid the splash and London just said screw it and frog splash cross
bodyed Nunzio and Vito on the outside. In the end Nunzio pulled of the victory with
a cheap pin
Winner and still Champion: Nunzio
post match: London cuts a promo sayin "Don't buy pizza tonight" to "screw those
ditry Itialians" and the crowd was like "wtf?" Funny but dumb.
7th Match:
Christain v.s Rey Mysterio v.s Orlando Jordan for the U.S. title
Pre-Match: Mysterio pulled out a T-Shirt with Buckwheat on it and he said "If they
call me Rey Rey why can't they call you Buckwheat?" So freakin hilarious, I about
cryed I was laughin so hard. Huge Buckwheat chant roared though the arena.
It was a good Triple threat. They really just threw one out of the ring and fought 1
on 1. Mysterio got huge pops thoughout the match. Mostly the 2 in the ring were
Mysterio and Christain. In the end it was Christain and Mysterio left in the ring
fighting hard. It was mosty all the moves and spots they did on Smackdown the
previous week. Mysterio gave Christain a head scissors to the ropes and sets him up
for the 619. He hits it and then he hits his follow up finisher "dropping the dime".
Mysterio goes for the cover and when Rey gets a 1 count, Jordan throws Rey out of
the ring and takes the cover and the win.
Winner: Orlando Jordan
Post Match: Mysterio gets a standing ovation
Main Event:
Undertaker v.s Eddie Guerrero
No DQ, No Count Out Match
Undertaker gets the pop of the night. It hurt my ears hearing his ovation. Eddie
worked Taker's knee the intire night. Good match but slow action. Taker hit the old
school and his snake eyes/big boot spot. Match last about 25 mnutes. Taker calls for
the Last Ride and Eddie rolls out of it with a sunset flip atimpt. Taker caught
Eddie with a chokehold around his neck, while Eddie was underneath him trying to
roll him over for the pin. Taker picked him up and... CHOKESLAM! Some how when Taker
walks to the turnbuckle to take a quick breather Eddie pops up on his legs again as
if the chokeslam didn't affect him. You could see it coming, Undertaker lifts him up
and Tomestone Piledrives Eddie to hell. 1-2-3! Taker takes the win. The crowd went
heywire, it was insaine! As the Undertaker was walking back up the ramp the crowd
was motionless. Nobody moved till he was not to be seen. He did his little arm raise
and the crowd just went nuts!
Winner: The Undertaker
Biggest pops:
1. Undertaker
2. Rey Mysterio
3. Hardcore Holly (I finally decided he got the 3rd best)
Most Heat:
1.Orlando Jordan
2. Simon Dean
3. Eddie Gurerro

It was great show for a WWE debut in Charleston! The Civic Center was about 50 % full and crowd reaction was pretty good. I had 2nd Row ringside which was awesome! The Taker/Eddie match was great and it was one of their 1st Encounters but it has been happening at the past 3 House Shows probably to set up a feud later on or because Orton isn't cleared to wrestle until Summerslam. Usually at House Shows they practice for upcoming matches/PPV. Looking forward for WWE to return to Charleston in the future!
