"Owen Sucks" chant starts and Bret looks on in disdain. Owen calls for the Sharpshooter but Rocky grabs Owen by the hair to throw him off. No Way Out 2000-Tag Team Titles
New Age Outlaws vs Dudley Boyz
This would turn out to be the last time that we saw the New Age Outlaws team together as such (It looks as though TNA will reunite them so I could be wrong yet) as coming into this Billy Gunn had torn his rotator cuff and needed shoulder surgery and not long after his return Road Dogg was released. They briefly reunited at Survivor Series 2000 but as a twosome this was their last outing. The Outlaws are the faces here and Dogg treats us all to the pre match Ladies & Gentlemen schtick with Billy chiming in with Suck It. The Dudleys stare the Outlaws down, pose then rush the ring. Dogg brawls with Buh Buh and Billy is (using one arm) with D'Von until the referee ushers Billy out. ECW chant starts up as Buh Buh reverses Dogg off the ropes, Dogg comes back Jucking and Jiving but Buh Buh counters and hits a Buh Buh Cutter. Buh Buh knocks Billy off the apron and the Dudleys deliver a Whasssuupp to Dogg's groin. The Dudleys get the Heat on Dogg making frequent tags taking it in turns to punch and choke Dogg. Dogg surprises D'Von with a sunset flip for two but D'Von regains the advantage with a clothesline and goads Billy in with a crotch chop that allows D'Von to illegally choke Dogg behind the referee's back. The Dudleys continue to punish Dogg with chops, punches, chokes, a clothesline and flying tackle off the ropes. The tide turns after Buh Buh delivers a scoop slam and heads to the second rope. Billy causes a distraction by talking trash to Buh Buh from the apron allowing Dogg to nail a low blow behind the referee's back then nail a suplex from the second rope. Both tag out and Billy clotheslines each Dudley twice before giving each a backbodydrop. Billy boots D'Von and delivers a Fameasser. 1-2-no Buh Buh pulls Billy outside, Billy punches and gets back on the apron as Dogg delivers a Shaky Shaky kneedrop on D'Von for another two count. (No tag though) Buh Buh pulls out a lead pipe from under the apron pulls Billy off the apron and drills him in the shoulder with the pipe. Back in the ring D'Von hits Dogg from behind into the referee, Dogg reverses off the ropes, D'Von ducks and Dogg turns into the 3D (Dudley Death Drop). D'Von covers for the 1-2-3. Here Are Your Winners & New WWF Tag Team Champions: THE DUDLEY BOYZ. Post match the Dudleys high five as Dogg berates Billy for not being there for him. DX beat Billy down and kicked him out on Raw the next night by the way to explain Billy's absence while he had his surgery.
Raw 1993-Intercontinental Title
Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty
Shawn Michaels is bragging to Vince McMahon during an in-ring interview and a hooded person makes his way into the ring which turns out to be Marty Jannetty making another re-appearance in the WWF. He left and came back so many times I lost count during his career. Michaels doesn't want to face Jannetty saying he has no gear on but Jannetty says he'll go get it and he and McMahon goad Michaels into granting Jannetty a title shot. Fast forward to later in the night and with the match in progress, Jannetty has the early advantage. Jannetty leaps on top of Michaels who hangs up Jannetty on the top rope. Mr Perfect is on the outside by the way. Michaels chokes Jannetty on the mat props him up in the corner and drills him with a series of punches before choking again this time with his boot. Michaels spikes Jannetty in the middle rope then brings a knee down across his chest from the second rope. Michaels with a snapmare and rear naked choke. Jannetty punches free, Michaels reverses an Irish whip attempt and dropkicks him down. Michaels Irish whips Jannetty but Jannetty catches a second dropkick attempt and slingshots Michaels into the corner. Both men are down, Jannetty crawls into a cover for two. Jannetty punches, Michaels reverses off the ropes but Jannetty throws him down then delivers punches to the head on the mat. Jannetty hits Michaels with a flying attack coming off the ropes and Jannetty starts to feel it. Jannetty punches then sends Michaels off the ropes, Michaels ducks but Jannetty catches him second time round with a powerslam 1-2-kickout. Michaels reverses an Irish whip but Jannetty leaps onto the second rope and fakes a dive, Michaels falls for it and goes down, Jannetty to the top comes off and hits Michaels with a cross body for another nearfall. Jannetty catches a Michaels boot, spins him round and lifts for an atomic drop. Michaels slips behind, Jannetty goes behind and sends Michaels off the ropes and into a rollup 1-2-no Michaels reverses with a handful of tights 1-2-no Jannetty stays alive. Jannetty gets up and Michaels delivers a crescent kick but instead of going for the cover Michaels talks trash to Mr Perfect who responds by throwing his towel in Michaels' face. A distracted Michaels turns back round and Jannetty hooks a small package and gets the 1-2-3. Here is Your Winner & New WWF Intercontinental Champion: MARTY JANNETTY. Post match Jannetty celebrates with Perfect as Michaels protests. Michaels got his rematch and got his belt back not long after this following assistance from his debuting bodyguard Diesel. Michaels defeated Jannetty again before going on to feud with Mr Perfect while Jannetty didn't reach singles success again until his return earlier this year against Kurt Angle in a great match. Jannetty enjoyed some moderate success after this in the Tag Division but it was nothing along the lines of the Rockers and after floundering he was released and only rose to prominence once more when he came back earlier this year with the Rockers Reunion and aforementioned Angle match before a DUI charge put paid to his WWE career perhaps for the last time. (I hope not)
WWF TV 1991
Ric Flair w/Mr Perfect vs Glenn Ruth
Flair is dubbed as "The Real World's Champion" and shots of him with the WCW belt are blurred out. Flair with a side headlock and into a go-behind and takedown. Flair drives knees into the back of Ruth and applies a canvas hammerlock before driving more knees into the back. Lockup Flair takes Ruth to the corner, Flair with a chop, punch combination. Flair boots and throws Ruth through the ropes to the outside. Flair goes out grabs Ruth and introduces him to Mr Perfect before chopping, punching and raking his face. Flair gets back in and waits for Ruth to get on the apron before knocking him off. Flair pulls Ruth back in and works on him in the corner. Flair with a snapmare, kneedrop and a series of two counts. Flair gets in the referee's face before Irish whipping Ruth then choking him with his foot. Flair stomps, whips Ruth off the ropes and elbows him down. Flair with a back suplex lets out a Whooo and says that's it. Flair applies the Figure Four leglock and Ruth has had enough. Flair keeps it applied after the bell using the ropes as leverage for extra punishment. Here is Your Winner: RIC FLAIR.
