In the ring is the Heartthrobs dancing away when Val Venis’ music hits. Val and Viscera come to the ring together. Big Vis is still sporting his new look. (Apparently he’s stolen Hugh Hefner’s smoking jacket, which he wears over what looks like Hef’s snazziest party tent.)
Val starts off with Romeo, Romeo traps Val in a corner, but Val fights out and takes control. Val nails a Russian Leg Sweep. Val goes and confronts Antonio. Val comes back and hits a Reverse Suplex, then tags in Big Vis. Big Vis dances over Romeo and goes for the Big Splash, but Romeo moves out of the way. Romeo tags in Antonio who starts kicking and punch Vis to no reaction. Antonio tries to attack Val to no avail. Antonio turns around into Vis’ fists and then a Spinebuster.
Val tags in and climbs to the top, but Romeo gets in the way of whatever he was going to do to Antonio. Romeo kicks Val in the knee and isolated him in their corner. Val goes for a kick, but misses. Romeo tags in and they use the five count to double team Val. Romeo goes for the cover, but doesn’t get the three. Romeo continues to work on Val’s knee. Val is oozing across the mat for the tag, but gets pulled away by Romeo. Val fights out, kicking Romeo into Antonio and is able to tag in Big Vis.
Big Vis fights off both Heartthrobs with hard elbows, a Slam to Antonio and a Back Body Drop to Romeo. Vis throws Romeo into a corner, throws Antonio into him and goes to Splash them both, but gets double booted for his troubles. Romeo runs at Big Vis and Vis scoops him up on his shoulders. Antonio runs at them, but Vis uses Romeo’s feet to kick and knock over Antonio. Big Vis hits a Samoan Drop on Antonio and gets the pin for the win. Val and Vis do Val’s signature dance together in the ring.

Linda MacMahon, in the Conn. Studio talks about hurricane Katrina and what we can do to help. She was pushing www.americares.com. Well done piece from a classy lady.

Carlito comes out for the Cabana. He has the newest Diva Ashley on his show tonight.
Ashley comes out wearing a cute punk outfit with a shirt that says, “Rolemodel.” Carlito immediately calls her Ass-lee, and then tells her she should get a new wardrobe now that she has that big check. He comments that she wears the same things and has an earing through her lip. He then comments on her hair.
She laughed and asked why Carlito was commenting on hair! He said no one will laugh at Carlito, not Ashley, not HBK, not even Flair. He admits he’s the one Who attacked Flair last week. He says when people laugh at him bad things happen. Kind of like what he will do to Flair at Unforgiven. But then again Ashley knows about bad things happening. He then showed a clip of Ashley’s match with Victoria last week.
He says she’s facing Torrie Wilson tonight on RAW. Ashley broke in and said she was excited, she knows she can kick Torrie’s butt. Carlito says he has his own little initiation process and he grabs an apple. Before he can do more than chew Flair’s music hit. Ashley did a fade from the ring when Ric came down the ramp.
Flair tackled Carlito and started beating on him. He then hit Carlito with a low blow. Not only that, but he grabbed Carlito by the package and dragged him around the ring that way. Flair then chopped Carlito, hit another crotch shot, and started strutting while holding Carlito by the dick. Then another crotch shot.
Carlito gets away and rolls from the ring. Flair throws the whole barrel of apples at him. As Carlito staggers from the ring carrying his injured dignity and his two best friends in his hand, Flair started doing elbow and knee drops on the strewn apples. Flair strutted in between making his own patented brand of apple sauce.

Backstage Bisch is watching the recap, the Matt walks in. Bisch berates Matt for all he did last week and the possible lawsuits. Matt says he doesn’t care. Matt Hardy comes to the ring in his street clothes for his “tune up” match. The crowd is very much on his side. Matt takes off his shirt and puts on his elbow pads in the ring. Snitsky comes out and stalks Matt.
Then Edge’s music hits and Edge and LIta come out to the announce table. Edge is wearing a neck brace, and they both sit on the announce table.

Snitsky climbs from the ring, lines Matt’s head up and kicks him in the head. Snitsky comes back in the ring and keeps control of Matt. Matt tries to counter with a Side Slam, but it doesn’t do much.
Snitsky keeps control and nails a Swinging Slide Slam type thing and gets the cover for the win.
Snitsky climbs from the ring and grabs the ring bell. Snitsky stands over Matt as if he’s going to hit him with the bell. Edge kept saying, “Don’t do it Gene, don’t do it,” sarcastically. Before he can do it Big Show’s music hits. Rather than clubbing Matt in the head with the bell, Snitsky hits him in the upper back once and bolts from the ring before Big Show can get his hands on him.

- Winner: Gene Snitsky

Torrie Wilson, Candace Michelle and Victoria come to the ring for Torrie’s match against Ashley. All three are dressed in very little, surprise surprise.

Shelton Benjamin comes to the ring. Rob Conway comes to the ring, he still looks like he’s giving Rico a run for his money.
They were about to start wrestling when Kerwin White comes to the ring in his golf cart wearing a golf shirt and a pink sweater vest. When Benjamin was distracted Conway attacked him and went for a quick cover.

Promo for Mick Foley on his book tour for his book Scooter. Guess they’re getting ready for his comeback. Very tastefully done.

Hurricane and Rosey come to the ring for a tag match. They are wrestling Cade and Murdock. They are in all black. Murdock looks nothing like his promos. He looks like a cross between Austin and Cowboy Bob Orton done poorly.
Murdock and Hurricane start it off. Murdock ends up kicking the turnbuckle. Hurricane gets kicked in the gut, but he counters with and Armbar and tags in Rosey. Rosey nails a couple of Scoopslams and a punch in the head. Bouncing off the ropes into more Rosey Clotheslines.
Cade distracts Rosey and tags in. They double team him and lands him on the top rope. They go for a Double Elbow which doesn’t do much, but the following Double Clothesline dropped him. The two of the Suplexed him.
Cade drops a knee to Rosey’s chest, but Rosey fights back with punches. Cade traps Rosey in the corner and punches him a couple times in the head. Cade tags Murdock in. Murdock keeps control and tags Cade in. They double team him again, both working hard on his head. Cade tries to go up top, but Rosey slams him to the mat and tags in Hurricane. Murdock comes in.
Hurricane takes control and goes up top. Hurricane does a Flying Dropkick and a Head Scissors. Hurricane does a Crossbody for a cover, but not a three count. Cade tries to interfere but Rosey throws him from the ring and follows him out. Threw keep each other busy while the other two fight it out in the ring. Murdock went up top and slammed Hurricane to the mat and covered him for the win.
Not bad for their first time out as a tag team. Cade’s outfit looked good, but they really dropped the ball on Murdock. Murdock also seemed as though he was a bit off mark, not bad, but noticeable. It wasn’t bad, but an acceptable debut performance.

Shawn gets up, then sits back down as Masters towels himself down. HBK sits and Masters locks in. HBK fights hard as his face turns bright red. The crowd chants for HBK. HBK ran for the third corner and ducked, driving Masters face into the top pad. Masters’ hands actually let go momentarily, but the hold wasn’t broken. HBK did the corner kick again and dropped them both to the mat a second time. After they got up this time it looked as though HBK was out. That is until he nailed Masters with a Mule Kick. Masters held on briefly after that, then threw HBK to the mat.
Masters grabbed the chair and hit HBK in the head with it. HBK was busted open and started bleeding. Masters picked up HBK and locked in the Masterlock again. He held it until the ref had the bell rung. The ref had to call people out to restrain Masters.

I just have to say my heart goes out to all of Katrina's victims. I hope everyone is reunited with their loved ones quickly. My best to Heidenreich who, last I knew, still hadn't found out about his family either.
