A wild night in Wichita Falls, Texas? The RAW after a PPV is always exciting.
The show starts with Eric Bischoff coming to the ring with the Championship belt over his shoulder. He climbs in the ring with a huge smile on his face. He says there’s a great deal of confusion as to who the WWE Champion is after what happened last night.
Bisch then announces Kurt Angle who comes to the ring with a huge grin on HIS face. Gee, does he think he’s going to get the title? He’s sure celebrating like he’s going to get the belt.
Bisch said Cena disregarded the rules and authority by using a chair and FU’ing Bisch. Bisch say he has the power given to him by the board of directors and has stripped Cena of the title. He was about to hand the title over to Angle when Vince McMahon’s music hits.
Vince also has that same wild grin on his face. Bisch stumbles over his words, but Angle takes the Mic and say that Vince is there to congratulate him for beating Cena last night. Vince tries to talk to Bisch, but Angle broke in with the three I’s.
Vince asked Angle who in the hell named him WWE Champion? Angle pointed to Bisch and said, “he did.”
Vince told Bisch he knew damn well he didn’t have the authority to strip Cena of the title. Bisch says it’s because Cena attacked Bisch. Vince started mimicking Bisch to the amusement of the crowd. Vince said because the win wasn’t by pin fall or submission Cena is still the WWE Champion. (Vince stumbled over saying WWE. You’d think he’d be able to say the name of his own company clearly at an important time.)
Vince announces that in two weeks there will be a WWe Homecoming. Foley will be there. HHH will be returning. Hogan will also be there. And live on RAW will Be Austin. There is one other thing. A championship match between Cena and Bischoff will happen in the ring in two weeks at the Homecoming.
Bisch looks positively ill as Vince walks off with the title belt. Bisch whines to Angle. While Angle paces the ring looking pissed.

Outback, walking along, Bisch is groveling to Vince about not wanting to fight Cena in a match against Cena in two weeks. Bisch says he has too much to do coordinating the huge show.
Vince told Bisch he’d think about letting him out of the match. Bisch is all happy about that. Vince then climbs into the back of his limo and rolls down the window. Vince looks at Bisch and tells him he’s thought about it and the match is still on.
Torrie, Candice Michelle and Victoria come to the ring, all in hot pink. Torrie is hold a tiny, tiny white dog dressed to match the other three bitches.
Trish then comes to the ring with Ashley. They are both in black.
Torrie is going one on one with Trish. Trish gets pulled from the ring by Victoria before Torrie can do much to her. As soon as Trish gets he bearing Torrie runs from the ring. Trish and Ashley double team her and then throw her back in the ring.
Trish keeps complete control until Victoria climbs in the ring distracting both Trish and the ref. Torrie tries to go for the pin fall, but Trish kicks out. Torrie immediately turns around into Trish who covers her for the win.
After the match was over all three female heels come in and attack the celebrating Trish and Ashley. Ashley is completely laid out, then Victoria hit the Widow’s Peak on Trish leaving her flat on the mat.
- Winner: Trish Stratus

WWE Rewind shows last nights win by Cade and Murdoch over Rosey and Hurricane.
Cade and Murdoch come to the ring, but only Murdoch is wrestling. (Gosh, Murdoch is ugly!)
Rosey and Hurricane come to the ring, but it’s Hurricane who’s wrestling. (This is going to be ugly too.)
Hurricane goes after Murdoch and gets him trapped in a corner. Murdoch scooted out of the ring cussing. Murdoch went back in the ring, got attacked and ran from the ring again, cussing. Rosey sent him back in the ring and he got attacked a third time by Hurricane.
Finally Murdock is able to get control with a clubbing blow. Murdoch locks on a Headlock, but Hurricane fights out. Hurricane hits a DDT on Murdoch. Hurricane is more fighting than wrestling. Hurricane goes up and hits a Mistle Dropkick. But Hurricane landed wrong on his left shoulder aggravating last night’s injury.
Hurricane traps Murdoch in a corner, but Murdoch lifted Hurricane and dropped him on the top turn buckle - Snake Eyes. Murdoch then hit a DDT on Hurricane and it was all over. Hurricane got covered for the three.
- Winner: Murdoch
Grisham is outback with Carlito. Carlito says he was reaching for the ropes and his hand hit the mat. He did not tap out last night! Carlito is going to prove tonight in the rematch that Flair can’t beat him. Carlito then stomps off.
- Commercial (The first one was for the Homecoming featuring Foley saying “Mrs. Foley’s baby boy is coming home.”)
The show returns with Edge bitching at Bisch about Matt getting fired again for giving Lita the Twist of Fate. He demands Matt gets fired. Bisch is pissed saying Edge has no right to demand anything. And Bisch is sick of Edge and Matt going after each other at every turn. Bisch says that at Homecoming there will be a looser leaves RAW match. Not only that, but it will be a ladder match. Edge asks what will be hanging over the ring? Bisch smiles and points to Edge’s briefcase. Bisch tells Edge the Money In The Bank. Edge is not too happy about this, but agrees.
Tomko comes to the ring looking mighty pissed. In the ring is Eddie Craven. They locked up, then Tomko punched Craven. Tomko then Booted Craven out of the ring. When Craven came back in the ring he gave Craven another big right boot knocking him out. The ref called the match. Tomko won via knockout.
- Winner: Tyson Tomko
Recap of Flair on Carlito’s Cabana. They went on to show the rest of the Flair and Carlito feud. They then showed bits of last night’s IC match between the two where Flair won the title for the first time.
Carlito comes to the ring looking rather ripped at what happened last night. He was muttering and complaining as he paced the ring.
- Commercial (The first commercial was promoting Hogan for Homecoming.)
Ric Flair comes to the ring wearing a black and blue robe. (Sounds like the same one he wore last night - from what I read. I will admit to not seeing the PPV. Though I’ve got to say he looks good with a belt around his waist. But it might just be that it hides that horrible over tanned rubber fat roll he has.)
Carlito looks as though he’s smelling something bad. Ric Woooooo’s in Carlito’s face before they tie up and Carlito gets backed into a corner. Carlito drops Flair with a Shoulder Block, then smacks Flair across the face. Flair calms down and smacks Carlito back as the crowd chants, “You tapped out. You tapped out.” Carlito flees the ring pitching a fit.
When Carlito enters the ring Flair starts attacking one of Carlito’s legs over and over, setting up for the Figure 4. Carlito rolls from the ring again to more, “You tapped out,” chants. Flair takes immediate control when Carlito returns to the ring.
Flair drops Carlito with a hard Chop and then follows it up with an Armbar. Carlito steals a Flair move and rakes Flairs eyes. Carlito now has control of the match. Carlito traps Flair in a corner and starts to beat him down. Carlito hits a Back Body Drop on Flair and goes for the cover. Flair grabs Carlito’s mop of hair to break the count.
After a little chain wrestling Flair flicks Carlito in the eye. Flair goes after Carlito with a bunch of chops and kicks. Flair sets Carlito up with his legs spread in a corner on the second ropes. Flair was going for CArlito’s “Apples”, but the ref stopped him.
Carlito cornered Flair and hit him with a bunch of punches, then went for the cover, but didn’t get the three. Flair bounced Carlito off a couple of corners then left Carlito flat on the mat while he went to get an apple. Flair takes a bite and then spits it into Carlito’s face. Carlito’s pissed.
Flair keeps control of Carlito, but his eye looks funky from the earlier rake. Carlito is on the apron and they are each trying to Suplex each other over the ropes, but neither could. Carlito decides that isn’t going to work, so he drags Flair over to a corner and tries to slam his head into the turn buckle. Flair was able to pull off the move first and Carlito’s head hit the open metal rather than the padding. Carlito walked up the ramp leaving the match.
- Commercial
Carlito is in control of Flair. (Flair followed Carlito up the ramp and they ended up back in the ring together during the commercial.) Carlito has a side Headlock on Flair who is having troubles fighting out. Flair gets out, but runs into a Spine Buster. Carlito goes for the cover, but no luck. Carlito tries for the cover again, still no three. Carlito is punching and kicking Flair who isn’t fighting back. Carlito traps Flair in the corner with punches, but Flair counters with an Inverted Atomic Drop. Flair then does a typical Flair Pratt Fall.
Both men fight back and forth when they get up, but both are tired. They exchange chops. Flair put both of his thumbs to Carlito’s eyes to regain control. Flair keeps chopping away on Carlito. Carlito gets dropped with a Back Elbow. Flair climbed to the top and actually was able to get his move off with out getting tossed. It was kind of a Clothesline.
Flair nailed a Chop Block. Flair goes for the Figure 4, but it took two tries to get it locked in. Carlito is right in the middle of the ring and taps out. The thing is Flair had a hold of the ropes behind the refs back. Dirtiest player in the game cheated to win.
- Winner: Ric Flair
Grisham outback with Matt Hardy. They talk about last nights match and tonight’s huge tag match. Matt starts talking about the ladder match. HBK jumps in and asked if he heard about a ladder match. HBK talks about his match last night with Masters and how he stole the show. Big Show broke in and asked if heard his name. Show said he’s the only show around here. He’s the giant and there’s no one bigger. Cena breaks in and says,“I’ve seen him in the shower.” The other two groan at the ‘low blow’.
Cena talks about them all tagging tonight in a huge 8 man match. How Show has the Chokeslam, and will eat someone if they need it. Show muttered, “Only with BBQ sauce.” Cena then talks about HBK, The Head Liner, The Show Stopper. How one note from Sweet Chin Music and it’s lights out. Cena goes onto Matt. The Twist of Fate, a Leg Drop from the atmosphere. Who wouldn’t want a partner who would not die? Todd Grisham - What can you do? Todd says he can do the Robot and starts dancing (poorly). And then there’s one move that spells it out for Masters, Snitsky, Edge and Angle - FU. HBK leans over Cena’s shoulder and says, “And, we’re out.” (It was a fabulous promo from all of them. Well timed and well worded by guys with great charisma on the Mic.)

WWE Slam of The Week - Matt and Edge in the cage match last night. Matt doing a leg drop from the top of the cage.
Maria is outback with Flair. Maria asks why Flair is the Nature Boy. Flair says it’s because he can go Wooooo all night long. But Flair doesn’t confuse business with pleasure. Carlito jumps in and tells Flair he screwed him again. Masters then shows up grabs Flair and tosses him into a garage door. He then puts Flair in the Masterlock. Carlito grabs an apple, bites, chews and spits it in Flair’s face. The two heels leave Flair battered on the floor covered in apple chum.

Snitsky makes the tag to Angle first, but Matt is able to get to HBK. HBK hits a Flying Elbow, followed by the Nip Up he’s famous for. HBK then nails an Inverted Atomic Drop and then a Scoop Slam. He then goes up for the Flying Elbow, but Angle rolls out of the way. Angle hits an Angle Slam followed up by the Ankle Lock. HBK tries to kick out, but Angle holds on. HBK is stuck. Show comes in untagged breaking up the hold.
Show then Headbutts Angle to the mat, but Angle gets back up. Show is going for a Chokeslam, but Snitsky hits him from behind. Angle somehow lifts and flips Show over the top rope landing him hard on the outside. Show doesn’t get up, or even move. Angle is just flat on the mat trying to breathe.
- Commercial (JR says it’s the last one.)
Edge has HBK in a sort of ½ Crab, but with both legs, Leglock (but it wasn’t quite a Sharpshooter). HBK fights out and Edge tags in Masters. Masters is going after HBK’s left leg. HBK tries to punch his way back to life, but Masters tags in Angle. Angle locks in a Headlock, but HBK is able to counter with a Suplex.
Rather than going for a tag HBK gets into a punching match with Angle. Angle Slam and the cover, but Matt breaks up the count. Matt gets punched from the ring by Masters. Angle goes for the Ankle Lock, but HBK kicks out tossing Angle into his own corner where he tags in Edge.
Edge runs across the ring and Spears Cena, knocking him from the apron. Cena had been the only team member still standing and able to tag out HBK. Edge grabs HBK’s leg, but gets kicked in the face for it. Both men are down on the mat.
Big Show slowly gets to his feet on the outside - He looks really, really mad. HBK gets to the corner and tags in Show. Show starts taking out all four heels with Headbutts and Clotheslines. Show puts Angle and Edge in one corner, Snitsky and Masters in the opposite corner. He does a running Splat/Splash into both pairs of men. Edge holds the ref so he can’t see Show. Snitsky walks into what would be a Chokeslam if Snitsky didn’t kick Show in the crotch. Edge then Spears Show. Edge goes for the cover, but Show kicks out. Show is still hunched over and all four of them mob him. Show stands up tossing all of them aside.
Cena comes in and attacks Edge, then Snitsky. Matt comes in and starts beating on Masters. Angle gets tossed from the ring by Show. Masters rolls from the ring. Edge crawls from the ring. Both Snitsky and Masters get tossed from the ring. Matt motions for Show to pick him up. Show tosses Matt over the top onto a waiting Masters and Snitsky.
Edge tries to hit Cena over the head with his briefcase, but gets caught up in a Powerbomb. Cena hits a 5 Knuckle Shuffle on Edge. Edge gets up and walks into a Big Show Chokeslam.
Show goes to cover Edge and Cena jumps on top. Then Matt jumps on top of him. HBK climbs on top of the pig pile and sits happily with his arm counting off the three with the ref. (Never thought I’d feel bad for Edge, and I don’t, but it had to suck being under all four of those guys.)
The four celebrate. Show in the middle with Cena and Matt on each side. HBK on Show’s shoulders.
