While not really wrestling related, just though we'd pass the word that SmackDown's network UPN beat NBC on a Thursday night for the first time in the network's 10-year history with its premiere of "Everybody Hates Chris". The UPN premiere of the show scored a 3.2 rating among adults 18-49, beating out NBC's "Joey", which scored a 3.0, for the 8pm to 8:30pm half hour. "Joey" improved in its second half to average 7.8 million viewers for the hour and a 3.5 in adults 18-49, but that's still below its season average from a year ago.
Kevin Fertig, formerly WWE's Mordecai, is getting married this weekend. Doug Basham and Gail Kim are among those in attendance at the rehearsal dinner that took place tonight. They will all stay for the wedding as well.
