*The 10/24 Smackdown! House Show in Davis, CA which will take place after No Mercy still has Batista vs Eddie Guerrero scheduled for the heavyweight title. It appears that WWE will continue the storyline between both men.
*WWE is quite nervous about the possibiilty of going up against a Yankees/Red Sox one game playoff on Monday night. If both the Yankees and Red Sox are tied after Sunday night, then the Sox and Yankees would have a one game playoff in prime-time on ESPN. This would match WWE up against both the playoff game and Monday Night Football and would have a large impact on their rating. If you remember, last year Taboo Tuesday and Major Leagues Baseball happened to fall on the same day which lead to a lower than average buy rate for the show.
