Rob Van Dam was backstage at RAW but did not appear live on the show.
After RAW ended, the RAW and SmackDown! superstars kept fighting. They had Big Show and Batista had a face to face confrontation that ended with Batista being thrown out of the ring. The show ended with the RAW stars in the ring celebrating.
The current plan is for WWE to send several big-name RAW superstars over to SmackDown! this week to continue the "gang warfare" angle that ended last night's show.
Despite starting at 7:55, an hour and five minutes earler than usual, USA Network still allowed WWE to run past the regularly scheduled 11:05 end time. When all was said and done, the show ran over 3 hours and 15 minutes long.
