I see you guys didn't have this house show report, so I thought I would contribute
the results. Enjoy the Champ’s Report of RAW Live!
Match #1
Kane vs Tyson Tomko
The crowd was pretty shocked to see Kane back early (this was before his return this
past Monday). Anyways, poor Tomko didn't get much offense in this match. Chokeslam
and that's all she wrote 1-2-3!
Winner: Kane
A match that was dominated by Kane, nothing special.
Match #2
Kerwin White vs Shelton Benjamin
CHAVO CHAVO CHAVO!!! That's what the crowd was chanting through most of this match.
Some good mat wrestling in this one and plenty of hard hitting moves. Match ended
with Kerwin attempting a Moonsault, but missing and then he walked right into a
T-Bone Suplex 1-2-3!
Winner: Shelton Benjamin
Not a bad match from these two mid-carders, Shelton needs the IC title back
Match #3
Eugene vs Rob Conway
For some reason, Conway's song is starting to grow on me. Anyways, Eugene was
really over with the crowd tonight. Eugene got in plenty of offense (he hit a Rock
Bottom and People's Elbow). He even did the Claw!! That made the crowd pop. Match
ends with Eugene going for a Stone Cold Stunner, but Conway reversed it into the Ego
Trip 1-2-3!
Winner: Rob Conway
I personally think Eugene needs a change of scenery (maybe Smackdown). The crowd
loved him however.
Match #4
Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch (c) vs Val Venis and Viscera for the World Tag Team
Championship
I remember the days when these tag titles actually met something. Not much to say
here, Val looked like he was going to nail the Money Shot on Murdoch, but Trevor
avoided it. The Tag Champs hit their Leg Sweep/Clothesline Finisher on Venis 1-2-3!
Winners: And Still World Tag Team Champions Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch
Decent match for the depleted tag team division.
Match #5
Tajiri vs "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters
This match was back and forth. Tajiri had the Tarantula locked in, but Masters was
able to get out of it and lock in the Masterlock! Tajiri fought and fought, but he
eventually went down.
Winner: "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters by Submission
Match #6
Edge w/Lita vs Big Show
If you saw Big Show vs Edge this past Monday, then you saw this match (except for
JBL's entrance music). It was exactly the same match and even had the same finish.
Edge tried to hit Big Show with the Money in the Bank Briefcase, but Show caught him
and gave him a Chokeslam 1-2-3!
Winner: Big Show
Match #7
Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro vs Victoria and Torrie Wilson w/Candice Michelle
I met Victoria earlier that day because she was doing an autograph signing at a
Furniture store in the city of Rancho Cucamonga. Victoria is a local girl by the
way. Anyways, there was plenty of decent wrestling being done by the Divas. Match
ended when Torrie (I believe) tried to Clothesline Trish, but the Women's Champion
did the Matrish (Matrix Move) and nailed the Chick Kick 1-2-3!
Winners: Trish Stratus and Ashley Massaro
Trish and Victoria are hot, that's all I have to say about that.
Match #8
Ric Flair (c) vs Carlito for the Intercontinental Championship
This was an ok match, nothing special happened at all. Carlito couldn't find an
apple so he went to the stands, stole some popcorn from some random guy and spit it
in Flair's face. That's Cool! Anyways, Naitch locked in the Figure Four and made
Carlito tap!
Winner: And Still Intercontinental Champion Ric Flair
Flair got on the mic and called out Triple H. He said something about how Triple H
should not have left The Nature Boy still breathing. WOOOOOOO!!!
Main Event
Kurt Angle vs John Cena (c) in a No Holds Barred Match for the WWE Championship
This was an awesome match (that's the understatement of the year). Angle dominated
from the start and the fight even spilled out into the crowd. Kurt SLAMMED the
Steel Steps right into John's head, and then hit a Low Blow, then an Angle Slam.
THAT HAS TO BE IT!! 1-2-KICKOUT by Cena!! Angle was pissed and locked in the Angle
Lock, but the Champ reversed it. Angle tried another Angle Slam, but Cena slipped
out and hit the F-U 1-2-3!!
Winner: And Still WWE Champion John Cena
That was a great match and a pretty good show overall. The champ got on the mic and
thanked us for coming.
