The latest backstage news from RAW last night is that most of the talent was shocked at the turns and twists that took place yesterday. In regards to Jim Ross and his situation many in the company were under the impression that after Steve Austin came into the story and after the parody that was run on J.R.'s surgery that Ross would eventually make a return to RAW after he had time to heal. However, that plan seems to have gone out the window last night after Austin reportedly didn't agree with the idea of being defeated by Coach and pulled out of Taboo Tuesday.
Instead, it is looked at now that there was never any plan for Ross to return to RAW and instead the entire segment with the "surgery" parody was nothing more than a way for WWE to build up Coach while tearing down Ross. Ross of course, is still recovering from his surgery and after placing Batista in the Taboo Tuesday match with Coach, WWE made no mention of how that would effect Ross and his return to RAW. It is believed, like I said, that Ross may indeed return to WWE after healing but will not return to RAW.
There was also talk last night of the return of both Vader and Goldust. The indication is that Goldust and Vader were brought into the company after being urged to do so by Dusty Rhodes who recently returned to WWE.
There is no exact word on what happened with Torrie Wilson at this point. We do know she is no longer with WWE, but why or how she left is still unknown at this point.
