Hello one and all. Sorry for the lateness of this but better late than never is all I can say in my defence. Anyway here's the coverage of the match that took place last night before Taboo Tuesday went on the air and is currently being shown on WWE.Com.
Shelton Benjamin & Val Venis vs Kerwin White & Matt Striker w/Nick Nemeth
The heels come out on Kerwin's golf cart with Nemeth walking behind with the clubs. Val and Striker start by locking up and jostling in the ropes when Nemeth distracts Val allowing Kerwin to nail Val from the apron with a cheap shot to his left knee/leg. Striker and Kerwin take it in turns to work on Val's left knee/leg until Val uses his right leg to free himself from Kerwin. Shelton knocks Kerwin down from the apron as Val tries to crawl and make a tag but Kerwin hooks his leg and tags in Striker. Striker grabs Val's leg but Val swings round and hits an enziguiri before making the hot tag. Shelton fires right hands at Striker, Striker reverses an Irish whip and Shelton leaps off the top rope hitting Striker with a flying forearm. Kerwin runs in and gets a Shelton backbodydrop before Shelton catches Striker with a backbreaker. 1-2-broken up by Kerwin. This prompts Val in who punches both Kerwin and Striker. Kerwin rolls outside and grabs Val by the legs and yanks him out to the floor. Kerwin gets back in but Shelton elevates him with a flapjack and sends him back outside with a hooking clothesline then Striker from behind surprises Shelton with a rollup and uses the ropes for leverage to get the 1-2-3. You got to be kidding me. Who has Shelton pissed off in the WWE offices? The heels beat a retreat and get their arms raised in the entrance way as Shelton and Val are left reeling in the ring. Here Are Your Winners: KERWIN WHITE & MATT STRIKER.
I'll be back on Sunday with Velocity and Heat. Until then take care and enjoy the rest of your week. Later. Shaun.
