WWE RAW Report (11/7/05) - Fort Wayne, Indiana

When the show started the majority of the locker room was standing on the apron of the ring. Joey Styles was with King and Coach.
Bischoff came out to the ring with a mic to major heat. He spoke about a ten man Survivor Series match between RAW and Smackdown. He also spoke about who would make up the five man RAW team. Kane, Big Show, HBK (the captain of the team). Carlito had his hand up, so he got a mic. Carlito said no more Cabana as he is a wrestler, not a talk show host. Shelton took the mic and asked Carlito if he was high. Shelton thinks he’s the man to do it.
Bisch said it would be Carlito vs Shelton for a shot on the team. Murdoch said he and Cade were screwed and should be on the team. He also said he wanted to ‘reevocisize’ their clause for a rematch for the tag titles - a hardcore match.
Helms took a mic and said he wanted in a match with Rosie, that fat piece for crap who has been holding him back for two years. Bisch granted the match.
Mickie James took a mic and said Trish deserved a round of applause for keeping her title at Taboo Tuesday. Bisch just rolled his eyes.
He then invited Edge and Lita in the ring. (Slut chants) Bisch flashed back to Taboo Tuesday when he said he did not care about the fans, RAW, or anyone else. All he cares about is himself.
Edge stated in the ring that he does not care about RAW - right to Bisch’s face. (I have never seen Kane and Big Show that personally pissed at someone. They let their emotions leak through a little much at that point.) Bisch says Edge should care. Bisch told them to cancel their plans for Friday night because they are going to Smackdown to be in a Street Fight with Batista. Bisch told them to leave and not come back until after he gets the job done.
Bisch then says they need some music to leave by. Bisch starts everyone - the crowd and the wrestlers singing, “na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye.” It was sweet.

Outback Trish said she needed to talk to Mickie about Taboo Tuesday. Mickie said she did not need to be thanked for her help in the match, and they should get out to the ring. They are tagging and have to give their opponents a double dose of Stratusfaction. Mickie walked away and Trish just rolled her eyes and sighed.

Trish and Mickie come out to the ring. That girl Mickie has way too much energy.
Recap of Lingerie Battle Royal at Taboo Tuesday.
Victoria and Candice Michelle come to the ring both in black and white, and very little of it. Candice is carrying her wand of hers again. (It is a 2 foot long thin white pole with a glitter white star on the top.) Wonder if that is going to turn into her weapon of choice.
Mickie and Victoria start it off. Mickie hits a Head Scissors on Victoria who counters with a Powerslam. Candice pulls down the top rope sending Mickie to the outside. Victoria went out and hit a hard Clothesline on Mickie.
Candice tags in an climbs on Mickie’s shoulders and wraps her legs around Mickie neck. She then hangs back off Mickie over the top rope in a kind of choke hold. She gets a four count before she puts her hands down on the apron, unwraps her legs and gracefully flips down to land on her feet on the floor. (I was actually kind of impressed considering she hasn’t done much wrestling.) She then does her ‘GoDaddy’ dance outside the ring.
Mickie crawls toward Trish for a tag, but Candice catches her by the ankle before she can get there. Candice drags her back, but Mickie rolls over and kicks Candice away. Candice tags in Victoria who goes and hits Mickie with and Elbow Drop to the back before she can get to Trish. Victoria hits Trish knocking her from the apron. Trish is pissed and rushes the ring. Trish rushes back at Victoria and slams her to the mat, landing on top of her. Trish continues to punch away at Victoria. Candice rushes the ring, but Trish bounces up to confront her. Candice starts to back away, but Trish kicks her in the knee sending her sprawling on the mat.
Trish and Mickie whip Victoria into a corner. Candice tries to scurry away, but Trish grabs her. She and Mickie use her as a battering ram driving her shoulder into Victoria’s gut.
Victoria goes at Trish. Trish does a Handstand Head Scissors that gets Victoria spinning and sends her flying across the mat. Trish rolls to the apron and gets back in the corner where she belongs as she was never tagged in. Mickie Back Kicks Victoria in the gut.
Mickie tried for The Victory Roll, but Victoria dropped to her knees when Mickie got on her shoulders. This sent Mickie flying chest first into the top rope. Victoria rolls her up for the cover, holding her tights, but Trish rushes in and kicks her before the three. As Trish is arguing with the ref Candice slides her wand in to Victoria who nails Mickie in the face with it.
Mickie drops like a sack of rocks. Victoria covers Mickie for the win. Trish climbs in the ring trying to figure out what happened.

- Winners: Victoria & Candice Michelle via magic wand

Rosie taps Helms in a corner and beats him down. Rosie then hits three Clotheslines in a row. Helms goes to the outside to collect himself.

Rosie climbs to the top, but Helms kicks him in the bum dropping him to the mat. Helms then hits the Shining Wizard and covers Rosie for the three.

- Winner: Gregory Helms

Outback Cade and Murdoch are heading for the ring with all sorts of paraphernalia for their match against Kane and Show.

Cade knees Kane in the gut and Murdoch starts throwing punches. Kane releases them both. They both bounce off the ropes and go at Kane to knock him down, but Kane Clotheslines Cade. Outback Angle is heading for the ring. Joey Styles says that Angle is coming out for the Main Event, but it is only just over an hour into the show. No clue what that is about.

- Commercial

Recap of what was done to Cade before the commercial.

Angle comes out as the announcers lament over the state of their table. Angle cusses out the crowd as the chant, “you suck, you suck.” Angle takes a mic and says he hates that chant. The chant starts again. Angle says we are going to do it over again and if he doesn’t get the respect he deserves we are going to do it over and over until we get it right. The crowd starts chanting before the music even hits this time.
The chants are even louder this time. Angle tells them to cut the music, but the chants do not stop. He says he is the best wrestler in the company (chants continue). He says he’s going to do it one more time and if he doesn’t get the respect he deserves there is not going to be a main event tonight.
Of course when the music hits the chants are even LOUDER. Even when he tells them to stop the music the chants continue. He says it is disgusting that we let our kids chant that. That we feel because we bought a ticket we can chant whatever we want. How he didn’t get to hear his daughter’s first words because he was working for us. His wife left him because he was gone all the time working for us. He called us self absorbed bastards and he is leaving. Us and the Maine Event can go straight to hell. He threw the mic and walked out.

- Commercial

in the locker room Angle is changing to leave. Bisch comes running in and telling him he can’t leave. Angle says he wants two things. He wants the fans to stop chanting ‘you suck’, and he wants a hand picked guest ref. Bisch says he can get the ref, but can’t stop the fans. Angle says he is leaving. Bisch freaks out and says he will do it, somehow. Angle agrees to stay and fight.

HHH is coming to the ring. Wow, does he look pissy. He sits in a big puffy leather chair on the stage.

- Commercial

Rob Conway is in the ring. HHH is still in the ring when Flair’s music hits. Flair comes out strutting for HHH, but walks most of the way down the ramp backward not taking his eyes off HHH. Flair whispers to Lillian who then says he’s also the man who beat HHH at T.T. HHH jumps from his chair pissed.
Flair starts messing with Rob’s head, playing mind games. Flair hits a Hip Toss and struts. He Bitch slaps Rob followed by a bunch of Chops. Flair then struts again and Woooo’s at HHH. Rob attacks Flair from behind and hits a Neckbreaker, then a Spinning Neckbreaker. He goes to the cover, but Flair gets a shoulder up.
Rob traps Flair in a corner and slaps his face over and over. Flair won’t take it anymore and grabs Rob’s package to make him back off. Flair climbs and hits Rob with a hard flying strike. Flair then locks in the Figure Four.
HHH starts walking down the ramp, he has a chain in his hand. Rob taps out giving Flair the win. HHH raps the chain around Flair’s neck and pulls him from the ring that way. Flair fights back knocking out the ref and sending HHH over the barrier.
They fight through the crowd and up to the announce table. Refs and staff are trying to pull them apart and appear to do so before they get outback.
Styles again says the Main Event is coming up next. At least this is more realistic timing.

Recap of Bisch telling Edge and Lita to leave and getting sung out of the arena.

Outback Bisch is on a headset telling someone to censor the crowd when Angle comes out. Lita shows up and tries to sweet talk Bisch into letting Edge out of the Street Fight. With her back to the camera she shows him her titties. He closes her shirt and tells her to put them away as she could put an eye out with one of them. He then calls her a slut.

Chris Masters comes out to the ring. Angle comes out next and every time the crowd chants ‘you suck’ they are bleeped out. Angle looks happy. The announcers are arguing about the censoring. I have to admit the censoring is quite annoying.
HBK comes out wearing another of his tacky outfits that I have not seen in over a decade. I know it is his ‘thing’ but wow, move into this century!
Cena comes out to huge pop. HBK tries to make nice as they are tagging together in this match.
Daivari comes out. He is Angle’s special guest ref. Glad to see the little guy back. I always liked him, not his character, but as a wrestler. I though he was much better than Hassan, personally.

- Commercial (again)

HBK and Masters are in the ring fighting it out, but Daivari keeps getting in the way yelling at HBK. Angle tags in. HBK is whipped into a corner, but gets his foot up into Angle’s face.
Cena tags in, Angle goes for a quick cover. Daivari counts way too fast. Cena fights back, gets the cover and Daivari gives the slowest count I ever see. Masters tags in. Scoop Slam to HBK and tags in Angle. HBK gains control and locks in an Armbar. Angle fights out.

Masters tags in, goes for the Cover and the fast two count. Masters locks in a Bear Hug. Daivari was waiting for HBK to make any moves to call for the bell. HBK punches Masters in the face to get free.
Angle tags in and locks in a Leg Lock. HBK gets out and Angle knocks Cena off the apron. Angle goes for the Angle Slam, but HBK reverses it into a DDT.
Cena finally tags in and hits many Clotheslines on both heels. He hits the Five Knuckle Shuffle on Angle. Masters climbs on the apron, but Cena drops him back to the floor with a fist. He goes for the FU. Daivari turns to yell at HBK and Masters attacks from behind. Masters climbs out. Angle locks on a Neck Lock and tries for another quick Daivari count. Cena gets dragged over to the heel’s corner and Masters gets tagged in. Masters tries to choke Cena out. Daivari not only does nothing about that, but yells at HBK for not holding the tag rope in the corner.
Masters hits a Delayed Vertical Suplex and goes for the cover and quick two. Angle tags in and hits a Back Breaker and gets a quick two count. Angle locks in a Neck Lock, Daivari is waiting for Cena to make an odd move so he can call for the bell but Cena fights out and reverses it into a Suplex. Both are down, but are able to tag their partners.
They come in and exchange blows at first. HBK hits a Forearm and an Inverted Atomic Drop on Masters. HBK hits a Clothesline on Masters. Angle rushes the ring. Angle gets Clotheslined, gets up and gets Clotheslined out over the top rope. Masters gets Scoop Slammed.
Outside the ring Angle is getting a chair. HBK is climbing to the top turnbuckle. Angle throws a chair in to Masters. Daivari sees the chair slide right past him, but yells at HBK to get down off the corner. He had to wait for the chair to pass him before he could go yell at HBK! HBK argues with Daivari about it.
HBK walks over to Masters and gets a chair to the mid-section. Daivari conveniently turned to yell at Cena for not holding the tag rope, even though Cena was right where he belonged.
HBK booted Masters in the gut and took the chair from him. He swung the chair at Masters head. Masters ducked, but Daivari turned around at that point to see HBK with the chair. Daivari calls for the bell.
HBK is standing there arguing with Daivari over the DQ when Masters approaches them. HBK hits Sweet Chin Music on Masters sending him from the ring. Angle Clotheslines HBK from the ring. Cena attacks Angle. Cena Irish Whips Angle, but Angle drops to the mat and rolls from the ring. Cena is standing there yelling at Angle and Daivari hits him in the back with a chair. Cena hits the mat. Angle rolls in and Daivari raises his hand. Daivari parades Angle around the ring with his arm held high.

- Winners: Kurt Angle & Chris Masters due to Daivari’s reffing ability

Styles tells us at home that we can’t hear that the crowd there thinks Angle sucks. King tells him that they are no longer bleeping out the chant.

I don’t remember Styles from ECW, but I have to say I kind of like the guy. He is no JR, but he does announce the moves much more often. He is not always accurate, but I learned lots of names of moves tonight because of him. If we can’t get JR back then I hope Styles stays.
