* Earlier today the WWE announced the eight finalists for their Million Dollar Tough Enough, which will be seen in segments on Smackdown starting this week. The field of competition has been narrowed down from 50 invited competitors to the eight finalists during tryouts in California over the weekend.

The finalists are:

John Meyer -- Costa Mesa, California

Nick Mitchell - Magnolia, Texas

Mike Mizanin -- Parma, Ohio (MTV Real World - Return to New York cast member)

Chris Nawrocki -- Syosset, New York

Daniels Puder -- Sunnyvale, California

Ryan Reeves -- Las Vegas, Nevada

Daniel Rodimer -- Tarpon Springs, Florida

Justice Smith -- Torrance, California

* The CBC is doing a "Greatest Canadian" countdown and the legendary Bret Hart came in at number 39. Others included on the list are former Prime Ministers Jean Chretien and Wilfrid Laurier, comedian/actor John Candy, and the NHL's Mario Lemieux.
