Stabler Arena
Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

By: Steve Nichols, rajah.com reader
This how was one of the best shows in years and there was a lot of people
there. About half the arean was full.

Match #1
WWE Intercontinental Cahmpionship
Champ Shelton Benjamin vs. Christian W/Tyson Tomko
Great Opener for the show. It started slow with Christian being on the floor
hugging Tomko. At the end of the match, Shelton hit Tomko with a superkick
and then the dragon whip on Christian. Shelton Benjamin retains the title.
WINNER: Shelton Benjamin

Match #2
Muhammad Hassan W/Shawn Daivari vs. Rhyno
Not a bad match. before the match, Hassan said that Bethlehem is the city of
racism. Yeah right. Rhyno got in a lot of offense, but then Daivari got in
the ring and Rhyno hit him with a gore. Hassan then hit Rhyno with a
modified face buster and got the three.
WINNER: Muhammad Hassan

Match #3
Simon Dean vs. Rosey
Simon says that Bethlehem is where the hot dog was invented and that
Bethlehem should be called Bethle-pork or Bethle-sausage. Rosey comes out
and almost destroys Dean. Simon then went to his bag to get his weight
lifting belt, but Rosey took it. They ref distracted Rosey when he took it
away and Simon Dean hit a low blow and got the three.
WINNER: Simon Dean

Match #4
Lita vs. Molly Holly
Everyone was really excited to see Lita finally. Very short match with Lita
getting a win after a DDT.
WINNER: Lita

Match #5
"The Masterpiece" Chris Masters vs. Tajiri
Decent match with Masters and Tajiri going back and forth. Tajiri hand to
try to use the handspring elbow twice because the first was blocked. Masters
got the win over Tajiri. Very surprising.
WINNER: "The Masterpiece" Chris Masters

Match#6
World Tag Team Championships
Champs Eugene and William Regal vs. La Resistance
Great match. Everybody had a lot of fun with Eugene. Eugene started playing
with the Quebecian flags and was stabbing Regals' and the refs' butts. La
Resistance got frustrated with Eugene very fast.Back and Forth offense.
Match ended with a double pin, Eugene hit the stunner on Conway and Regal
hit Grenier with a running knee.
WINNERS: Eugene and William Regal

Here comes Stacy ready to shoot out T-shirts. She gets half way through the
pile when Coach comes out and says she stand in the corner and be quiet.
Then Coach says he will be in the battle royal and if Triple H can't retain
the title then Coach should win it. Stacy heard enough and shot Coach below
the belt. Stacy shot more shirts and then left.

Intermission

Match #7
Edge vs. Chris Benoit
Awesome match and an intermission. It started slow with Edge acting like a
coward.Benoit had the offense for the most part even trying the swandive
headbutt and missing. Edge went to get a chair, but the ref took it away and
put it in the corner. Benoit came charging at Edge andhit him knocking him
into the ref. Benoit then lock on the crossface, but there was no referee
whne Edge was tapping. Edge went to the floor, got the chair, and delivered
a vile chairshot to Benoits head. The ref woke up and Edge got the 1-2-3.
WINNER: Edge

Match #8
Val Venis vs. Gene Snitsky
Your basic squash match. Snitsky wins. Enough said. SUrprisingly there were
cheers for Snitsky. Probably because he is from Pennsylvania.

Match #9
MAIN EVENT
Six Man Tag Team Match
Evolution (Batista, Triple H, and Ric Flair) vs. Randy Orton, Maven, and
Chris Jericho
Definately the best match of the night. Batista was arguing with the fans
for like 5 minutes. The match started with Jericho and Batista. Batista is
impressive to see in person. There was tags and more tagsuntil Orton and The
Game were in together.Randy went for a sunset flip, but couldn't get him
down. So he plled his tights down (his butt facing me), Ric Flair came in
and Jericho came over and pulled his tights down (again facing me), Batista
also came in and Maven pulled his tights down. The good guys then applied
stereo Figure Fours to Evolution while there tights were down. Priceless
moment. The match turned to chaos because Hebner couldn't keep control of
everyone. Jericho and Orton closelined Batista over the top and Jericho went
after him. Triple H got up and almost connected with a Pedigree on Orton,
but it was countered into and RKO for the 1-2-3.
WINNERS: Maven, Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho

TOP 5 POP WINNERS (No particular order)
1) RKO/Randy Orton
2) Lita
3) Evolution with tights pulled down
4) Edge (he was at the Lehigh Valley Mall for a book signing)
5) Triple H

TOP 5 HEAT WINNERS (No particular order)
1) Simon Dean
2) Christian
3) Chris Masters
4) Muhammad Hassan and Shawn Daivari
5) Evolution almost winning the main event

Bethlehem house show results:

Started off like any house show with the National Anthem and all the other crap.

Shelton Benjamins def. Christian-Pretty good match. Benjamins made a funny comment
about Tyson Tomko and Christian "tossing each others salads". Christian kept running
away from Benjamins, one of the funniest matches of the night. Benjamins pop was
huge throughout the match.

Muhammad Hassan def Rhyno-This started off of course with everyone in the audience
shouting USA and then Muhammad coming out and telling us we were racist. Not a very
good match, Muhammad doesn't have any great skills as a wrestler.

Lita def Molly Holly- Pretty slow...typical women's match. Lita got a lot of pop.

Simon def Rosey-HILARIOUS!!! Simon did his usual fat speech and said they should
call Bethlehem, Bethle-pork, bethle-bacon, and other various meat products. Somehow
a hot dog got involved and Rosey shoved it in Simons mouth.

Chris Masters def Tajiri-I still really don't know who this Chris Masters guy is but
he's not very good. Ok match but Tajiri should have won.

Eugene and William Regal def La Resistance-Eugene was a mad man tonight. He was all
over the place. Good match, a lot of stalling and William Regal had to calm Eugene
down a couple of times but still a good match.

Then Stacy came out and shot t-shirts. Coach came out mid-way through the shooting
and lectured Stacy on women's roles and blah blah blah. Stacy took the "shirt gun"
and shot Coach in the nuts. BIG pop for that. Then she fired off some more shirts.

Edge def Benoit-Amazing match. We got to see the crossface and the kamakazie
headbutt from Benoit, but Edge got a hold of a chair and hit Benoit for the win.

Gene Snitsky def Val Venis-It's always a treat to watch Gene Snitsky. The crowd
loved him but he had to uphold his image with some "grrs" and some "shut ups".
Pretty decent match, but they really should have thrown a dead baby in the ring to
spice things up.

Main event-Maven, Chris Jericho, and Randy Orton def Triple H, Batista, and Ric
Flair-Once again, the humor in this match was beyond belief. Y2J got a good pounding
in the beginning of the match but the highlight of the night was when each man
paired up and we saw HHH, Ric, and Batista's butts. It was like a bad train wreck,
you wanted to look away but you couldn't. This left me speechless. HHH pedigreed
Randy Orton but Randy Orton delivered the RKO and won the match. Y2J was having a
hell of a time making fun of Ric Flair and we even got to see HHH do a Flair flop.

Randy Orton definately got the biggest pop of the night.

Dean Malenko and Stephanie McMahon were in the back along with Gene Snitsky's
girlfriend who came over and chatted with us for a bit.

Overall: Great Night. It was worth every penny.

Hey rajah, great site guys, u rule!

last night i was at the raw show in bethlehem pa

heres the rundown,

shelton benjamin d. christian

good technical match, probably the best of the night. It good to see some
pure wrestling on a card, not as much of a pop for shelton as there should have
been hes one of the best technically sound wrestlers in the game.

muhamad hassan d. rhyno

not much offense from rhyno good pop a few ecw chants, but hassan does look
good and has possibilities.

lita d. molly

typical womens match lita in control most of the time wins with ddt.
huge pop for lita.

simon dean d. rosey

no hurricane surprisingly, dean makes fun of bethlehem then teases rosey with
a hot dog, to no ones surprise the hot dog gets used during the match and
stuffed down deans throat. easy win for dean forgot what his finisher was though.

the masterpiece chris masters d. tajiri

so does every ecw talent get jobbed out of the business when they join wwe.
great stuff from tajiri this no talent punk wins with a facebuster. this
masterpiece gimmick is a cross of rick rude and val venis and he does not pull it
off well, plus its been done before get creative.

stacy comes out shoots shirts to the crowd, coach interrupts plugs raws
battle royal she shoots him in the nuts with the shirt blaster.

eugene/regal d. la resistance

typical eugene regal match they used a double pin to win, eugene was funny
during the match poking regal and the in the butt with la resistance flag pole.

intermission

edge d. benoit

back n fourth match til edge uses a chair after a ref bump to pin benoit, not
one of their best performances.

sinitsky d. val "jobber" venis

boring match squash win for snitsky with the pumphandle slam.

y2j/maven/orton d. evolution

good match funny spot where all the face ended up grabbing the tights of all
of evolution and hanging on to them while evolution scrambled around the ring
with their asses hanging out of their trunks, orton hits rko on triple h for
the win.

biggest pops

triple h (surprisingly)
randy orton ( quick roar from the crowd but not long lasting)
Eugene
lita
ric flair
gene snitsky (mixed reaction cause he lives close by to bethlehm)

heat
la resistance
muhammad hassan
chiristian
simon dean

attendance: 3000

pre show:

heres the good part my brother in law was working security for the arena. so
i got some good backstage info, he said stephanie mcmahon was very nice to
everyone and he even got to escort her triple h and flair from their tour bus to
the locker room

Eugene drives, that was too much to see, way to play the gimmick out. Orton
and maven rolled up in a pimped out escalade which my brother in lae got to
park for them, he said all were very nice and professional no one at all cocky
and arrogant

Flair on his way in when a fan screamed flair your a legend how bout an
autograph responded with, i know im a legend thats why i dont sign them, cocky but
understandable.

Rhyno before the show came up to sign autographs but only like 10 people were
there then, he was there very early.

Post show:

Everyone left a few at a time, Snitsky i have to say is a class act if i ever
saw one. on his way out about 75 people are standing on the grass by the
parking lot he comes out with his girlfriend mother father and another unknown
person lets them in his hummer, nice ride, then all fans because he's a well
known local boy chanted we want gene, he pulled my brother in law aside i want to
go up there so about 2 other security guys accompanied snitsky up the muddy
dirty wet grass, in his very nice shoes and suit and overcoat on and he stood
in the mud signing autographs and taking pictures for at least 25 mins. talking
very professionally and joking with everybody on the grass, very nice guy,
nothing like his character it was completely different to see him talk and smile
instead of grinning and spitting when he talks on raw, hats off to gene
snitsky.

After him everyone else left and the crowd disbursed .
