- At the 2/23 RAW where Jim Ross interviewed Mick Foley, Foley actually had no makeup on to sell his injuries suffered the week before at the hands of Randy Orton. In fact, on the 2/16 RAW, Foley told Orton immediately before their encounter to legitimately bust up his eye with punches even though Orton had no experience doing something like that. Orton struck Foley in the temple with seven punches that caused major swelling, but the cameras were ordered not to focus on that and instead concentrate on Foley's bloodshot and blackened eye. Furthermore, Orton was said to have also slightly injured his hand during the entire process.
- The sitdown interview with Jim Ross mentioned above was originally conducted a few days after the 2/16 RAW but by Jonathan Coachman. However, Vince McMahon hated it and would not give his authorization for it to air and had Foley called back a few days later to re-do it, except with JR instead.
- WWE has tentatively scheduled two PPVs for June in what could be their first real effort to expand to 14 PPVs per year. The first one, which will be the RAW brand Badd Blood from Louisville, Kentucky on 6/13, while the second one will be a Smackdown! exclusive show two weeks later on 6/27 in Norfolk, Virginia. The first PPV is confirmed but the second one hasn't been committed to in WWE's regular statements to the major cable companies. From there, WWE may choose to have another two-PPV month later this year before possibly expanding to 20 PPVs within the next year or two.
