WWE Inks New Television Deal Involving Both RAW & SmackDown

World Wrestling Entertainment and Ten Sports Sign New Five-Year Agreement in India

STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)----World Wrestling Entertainment(R) announced today that it has signed a new five-year agreement with Ten Sports to carry the immensely popular WWE(R) content in India and the sub-continent.

The agreement covers more than 2,500 hours of first run programming, including flagship brands Raw(R) and SmackDown!(TM), across the five years of the deal from January 1, 2005, through December 31, 2009. The nine first run hours per week of WWE original programming have become one of the hottest properties on Indian television and will be broadcast throughout India and the subcontinent.

Ten Sports is available in more than 30 million households via cable and satellite networks in India, almost half of the total TV households.
