-- AEW star Adam Copeland has been sidelined after fracturing his tibia at Double or Nothing earlier this year when he jumped off a steel cage. Copeland requires surgery to repair the break and was subsequently out indefinitely having to also forfeit his TNT title in the process. However, it appears that his return is just around the corner.
-- PWInsiderelite.com reports that Copeland has been cleared for "physicality" but that his full-time return to AEW TV isn't expected until he has completed filming for the second season for Disney+'s Percy Jackson. The series is currently shooting but expected to wrap up in January at which time Copeland would be free and clear to return.
-- The report added that the possibility of Copeland returning at the January 1, 2025 AEW "Fight For The Fallen" event - which would be the first MAX simulcast in Asheville (where he resides) as a very distinct possibility but that nothing is yet confirmed.
